I think they'll need to re-assess local openings...i.e. Leicester in the UK are facing an additional 2 week lockdown, and Texas/Florida are not having a good time in the states
I never thought this would drop down to the 60s after we hit £1 most recently...
BUT
I see it as another opportunity to get in at a good price :-)
USA seems to be going to s**t, but eventually things will pick up. In the UK, I expect shows to get booked out quick - even the old skool films
themuir01 - ha, got ya, I've never been great with sarcasm
20p would be an incredible buying opportunity...but I don't see that happening
Day traders look away...
Investors, this share will come to fruition in good time (my target is still set on £1.05, but maybe it'll take a little longer than I first anticipated).
We live in crazy times, but Cinemas are to re-open. Films will be shown (old or new). Money will be made.
Always do your own research!
Only a matter of time until Cineworld open ticketing for the next big titles and you can be sure this will be in advance of their 10th July opening.
GLA
Which titles? Tenet, Bond, Mulan?
Not widely
I think the most interesting thing will be that Cineworld can start scheduling shows and selling tickets.
They're waiting for the green light from the Government to do this (in my opinion), or they would have done it already.
Extract on Boris from BBC News...
"Cinemas, museums and galleries will be able to reopen in England from 4 July, Boris Johnson is expected to announce on Tuesday as he outlines a further easing of coronavirus restrictions."
And
"He is expected to announce the plans in Parliament at about 12:30 BST.
Mr Johnson is expected to say the 2m (6ft 6in) social distancing rule will be reduced to 1m (3ft 3in) from 4 July, with some mitigating measures."
Could be interesting for the SP
"We are excited to announce that we are planning to reopen the doors of our cinemas in England on 10 July 2020. Dates for our cinemas in Scotland and Wales will follow.
We can imagine you have a lot of questions about how this will work and what we will be showing so keep scrolling to find out more..."
Sorry, the rest of the email is an image but it shows their safety measures - looking good!
Pretty significant
100% this!
And I thought 89p yesterday was a bargain. Time to load up and average down before this hits 100p+ levels in a few weeks
Thanks Jai
