David Stone has an article on Griproom called "BlackRock is Trying to Steal GasLog and Why You Should Care". His idea's are very much in line with the thoughts offered by Tilly.
Google it and have a read. I feel sure you will identify "some" parallels that appear to be happening with EUA.

Apologies for misleading and apologies for the cut and paste but the following has been lifted from the RNS of 20th May.
"The Directors have decided to limit the financing to £14,126,289 to keep shareholder dilution to a minimum"
I do get your point regarding full price paid btw

I don't know if there is anything official for today or not but if you scroll back to yesterday evening at about 19.40 (ish) Rayski posted a link to a tweet that listed previous years and several of them show the release to be the end of May. We weren't deep into a sale of some sort then though.

28% of Telegram users pales into insignificance when compared with the 307,250,000 held by Queeld. They didn't manage to register their 8.3 and let the BOD do it so let's just hope that they get their vote in in good time.
Hi chartresearch, I have come across the four that you mention for shares not in public hands but the document I found from the londonstockexchange.com also lists out a fifth item "the AIM company as treasury shares."
Good Morning all. I just thought that I would try and gauge the opinion of the more knowledgeable on the board if I may.
The resolution about to be voted upon at the upcoming EGM has been passed before in a very similar wording previously and was tabled (but not voted upon) for the AGM of 2020. This time is explicitly mentions “(or treasury shares sold)” and “(or sell treasury shares)” when they have never been mentioned before. Does anyone think that there could be any significance to this?
It also got me thinking about treasury shares. I checked on the company website “share capital” and see that there are 578,595,458 shares that are not in public hands. Are these treasury shares in effect? Will these shares be allocated on a pro rata basis in any sale transaction or do the BOD need our explicit approval to carry this out?
As has been stated earlier, whatever the reason it will not wait until the AGM to be voted upon.
Serious question from someone so obviously not in the know, please be gentle.
Here’s to a blue Friday… GLA
Interactive Investor do a Bed & ISA. You would need a trading account which is free, an ISA £9.99 per month and then the trades are £7.99ea and you get a free one each month. I believe that people have posted on here previously that if you call them up they will do an instant Bed & ISA for a reasonable extra fee.
I have just been looking over rule 2.9 of the takeover code and copy for reference
"When an offer period begins, the offeree company must announce, as soon as possible and in any case by 7.15 am on the next business day, details of all classes of relevant securities issued by the company, together with the numbers of such securities in issue. An offeror or publicly identified potential offeror must also announce the same details relating to its relevant securities as soon as possible and in any case by 7.15 am on the business day following any announcement identifying it as an offeror or potential offeror, unless it has stated that its offer is likely to be solely in cash."
We had the 2.9 RNS on 2nd Dec and AA had a very similar RNS stating the number of shares on 1st Dec.
Am i just reading something into this incorrectly? I hope not!!
