Tantalising indeed
Item nr 1 on the agenda may involve the outome of the hearing of Potanina v Potanin which is due to be heard in the UK Supreme Court on 31st Oct & 1st Nov.
The outcome is likely to have an effect on at least one of NN's key shareholders.
Verdict to be issued 1st Nov, EGM expected 2nd Nov.
Coincidence?
MT DFS expected Nov 22 as per RNS of 29th June
"The Company continues to progress discussions with regard to the potential sale of its assets, appointing KPMG Russia as agent in May 2022, and has set aside sufficient funds to complete and submit a Definitive Feasibility Study for the Monchetundra project in November 2022."
Like many on here I have always thought that NN would have some interest particularly in the Monchegorsk assets. I have always believed that the outcome of the divorce would have an effect. After Potanina was given permission to go after Potanins assets in the UK courts he has had an appeal lodged with the UK Supreme Court. The permission for him to appeal has been made public on the UK Supreme Court website today.
This is big stuff as she is seeking 50% of dividends that he has received since 2014 and 50% of his holdings in NN. At the last court hearing in Dec 21 this settlement was tipped to have reached the third highest ever behind only the Bezos’ and Gates’ settlements.
How do people think this will play out with him being sanctioned by the UK Government? Surely he won’t be allowed to fight a financial case in a UK court…… will he?
Hi LB
I have always treat the figures from Morningstar with extreme caution.
My thoughts are that the 2nr ii deals brokered by HC Wainwright have never made it onto Morningstar so how many others are there out there that also haven't shown ...... for whatever reason
The wait goes on....... ATB
