Short term Share Price23 Sep 2021 14:03
I'm getting quite used to SP not reflecting where things should be , but that's the nature of the stock market .
Unless something is black and white clear as day RNS'd , there is room for drifting , playing about , accumulating , ( shorting - although I think thankfully we are free of that here ), and general squeezing .
I really wish with my long term shares , I could just leave looking at them ( like my pension). But I guess there are some shares that are actually become a sort of hobby , as we like the story too ( For me FARN , SNG , EUA and GGP ) , and enjoy looking for clues and tidbits of info .
Sometimes however , best thing to do is just wait for the RNS's and avoid panicky feelings about falling SPs .
Case in point where I learnt my lesson - years ago when I first bought £500 of FARN at £1 , I also bought £500 of REDX at 14p .
Sold REDX at 7p a year later as I was peeved that it seemed to be going nowhere , despite some promising research .
Made the mistake of checking it again today - oohh £1.08 . Infact it went to 50p about 2 weeks after I sold .
Its almost a nailed on phenomenon , that as a share gets closer to the money RNS's , so the SP tends to look weaker and weaker .
3 years ago I'd be scratching my head . Now I'm almost expecting it , and actually see it as a necessary process , when some bigger hands decide they want some of the pie , they have no problem bullying a few weaker hands out of the way .
It's hold on for the endgame here for me . Plenty of risk has been removed in what they've proved up so far , and the rewards will be worth the shenanigans .
