I didn't predict a lower price, I asked a question, that why there's a ?? at the end.

It can be difficult to distinguish between a prediction and a question, but I usually find ?? At the end give it away.

I'm a realist!!!! And read the facts. We spent a whole load of money on setting up a mine of inferior coal and smaller reserves. Now we have to move it and set up again. If anyone thinks it's a lift and shift I believe they are gravely mistaken. Access roads for haulage, setting up washer crusher, tweaking in the rainy season.

You tell me the positives of someone deciding to pay for all the work on the southern pit? Surely they could tell it was smaller and would run out of coal within a year or two??!!!

I've never read anywhere that they've been able to produce enough coal to fill any of the contract signed. Production and output stopped. Due to the lack of working capital output has been severely restricted. The machines have been switched on again. Continuous production has been commenced but by what definition of continuous? The southern pit has been exhausted. Machinery needs to be moved in the wet season. Machinery needs to be set up again in a Northern pit and tweaked to make it work efficiently. Which bit are people not understanding?

They intend to break-even by the end of April.production is due to restart in the northern pit in March.this gives them at best 2 months to ramp up production from zero when the machines were stopped to 4500 tons a month.

I believe that some point in March we will get an RNS from Alistair to say that it is no longer realistic to break even at the end of April.

Until edenville can you confirm that they have hit 4500 tons a month then it is all jam tomorrow.

So we've been told they hope to breakeven by end of April. However, if production doesn't start again until late March, accepting they have 6,000 tonnes to process, there will be a point where it's physically impossible to get 4500 tonnes a month out the door. At that point, when Edenville realise they can't make 4,500 tonnes a month, is Alistair duty bound to inform the market?

As previously reported, Edenville expect cashflow breakeven at Rukwa at around 4,500 tonnes of washed coal sold per month and has a target of achieving this by May 2020."

Well they have the capital, so by the end of April, i.e. by May, and production starts in March after they move it and tweak it.

Anyone still believe they will break even in two months? No, I didn't think so.

If you are reading this Alistair, probably time you RNS the truth about timescales and breaking even. Cos I just don't get how you are going to do it under current circumstances

Agree that AM has a better approach to telling the news, it's just the news he's reporting that's the problem!!!
