Simple maths and a lot of assumptions29 Jul 2022 16:49
so if the flow rate was c. 0.3 before frac, and 0.5 after 10% of frac fluid flowed back, then by simple maths and a lot of assumptions I estimate the flow rate to be 2.1 MMSCFD once all the frac fluid out, unless anyone else knows if the gas flows increases further as the frac fluid is removed.
c. 0.3 MMSCFD to start with
c. 0.5 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 10% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
c. 0.5 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 20% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
c. 0.7 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 30% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
c. 0.9 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 40% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
c. 1.1 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 50% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
c. 1.3 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 60% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
c. 1.5 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 70% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
c. 1.7 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 80% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
c. 1.9 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 90% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
c. 2.1 MMSCFD through a 16/64" choke. Approximately 100% of the frac fluid has been flowed back
Happy with 2.1 MMSCFD?
