It is promotion of the right things at the right time.

Today's talk about carbon capture and storage when it is years away, doesn't help the share price.

The promotion should be about the work over to increase the flow rates, the increased flow rates will lead to a JV, the JV will lead to x number of wells being developed, x number of wells being developed will lead to full field development.

That's the promotion that Roland should focus on how one thing will lead to another, lead to another, lead to another bigger thing for SYN.

He stated that based on most traditional metrics Synergia Energy is seriously undervalued.

He stated that the P50 reserve base of over 200 BCF would in fact warrant a multiple hundred million dollar market cap, if only the field was located in Europe.

Stating that he felt an “Indian discount” was working against SYN.

If we get the flow rates then the JV announcement straight off the pack we could well be in excess of .44p

I know people will say the true spread is much less, that 15% is what appears on the screen.

With the workover operations commencing on July 14th. Presuming they started sometime on the 14th, we have now had 3 full days. How long does the first part take? i.e. the "removal of the production tubing and milling out of the bridge plug and re-inserted and per the DGH request"

Since when has there been a condition on the JV at they have to hit 0.5 mmscfs?? Talk about "Ignor the scaremongering." Stop churning out this rubbish unless you can substantiate that you know for a fact and the source of any conditions on the JV.

All falling into place.

Do we still think that once all is installed and new flow rates known the JV can be signed?

The workover rig is now scheduled to arrive on the Cambay location on July 12th and to commence workover operations on July 14th. The workover program has been modified at the request of the Directorate of Hydrocarbons ("DGH"). The revised program calls for the removal of the production tubing and milling out of the bridge plug that currently isolates the original four fracked zones from the two currently producing re-frac zones. The production tubing will be re-inserted and per the DGH request, the well will be flowed for a period to establish a baseline of production without artificial lift. During the period of baseline establishment, the workover rig will be deployed to the nearby C-19z oilwell to conduct a de-waxing operation lasting approximately 5 days. Following the C-19z workover, the rig will return to the C-77H well to install the jet pump. The revised program will facilitate a direct comparison of well performance with and without artificial lift.

It would be good to know on Monday via a RNS that the rig set up went to plan and that all the timescales published are still achievable. The biggest thing holding SYN back at the moment is the historical failure of Roland to achieved the published timescales, I feel people are sitting on the sidelines here awaiting for confirmation. If a successful RNS comes on Monday, then we should see 0.2p next week.

Whilst I agree that words on here won't change the share price, I do feel that positive sentiment towards a share goes a long way to engendering positivity around a share. There could potentially be a large number of (potential) new investors next week reading / researching about SYN.
