RE: End of july28 Jul 2025 09:32
Read the RNS on the 19th June, it states...
"Drilling rig to be mobilised with bulk sampling and prototype wash plant TESTING ongoing, with the objective to demonstrate recovery and revenue potential.................to optimise the Company's FUTURE alluvial mining model........with drilling also targeted at areas where ECR intends, in due course, to commence operations. These efforts are a critical step in advancing towards production"
The drill rig is producing samples that will be tested (more testing), in terms of the wash plant all they are doing is, and it won't surprise you, TESTING it to see if the changes they've made work. They use the terms 'in due course', 'advancing towards production'
Remember, ECR are only allowed to process a 1,000 tonnes, including the overburden. The more they dig up to run through the wash plant they closer they get to that 1,000 tonne limit and I'm pretty sure Mick and Nick wouldn't want to be caught breaking the licence conditions because some whistle blower has reported them. Any kind of commercial quantity mining production will, in my view, need the full mining licence and that will take both time and money. Surely people realise this? 1,000 tonnes including over burden is going to produce limited gold that you can fit in a small Marmite jar, love it or hate, processing 1,000 tonnes of soil isn't going to make ECR rich.
