Need them to list at about £15 to get the money back that I initially invested in Northcote.
66.55p! My spread bet hopes so. Although this is the third time of testing the low 70s region. So anything lower than here could see a sustained drop. With it being as volatile as it is, coupled with market uncertainty over national lockdowns there may be those that want to do derisk over the weekend.
I have a spread bet account with ig that has about 20-30 trades in it at any one time. One thing it is useful for is monitoring market changes. Everything in it is down today, even gold and silver. Which tells me its just market fluctuation.
I know where you’re coming from WA. Thing is Dave was planning for success when he was on about creaming the curve and being the right time to deal. If the wells would have come off he would be have been hailed a hero. My £30k is now worth £6k, not as much as yourself but feeling it too.
An extra 2 billion shares to issue, am i reading that right? it will volume on a daily basis to make this tradable and with no profit in the near future that wont happen. As the trading range narrows traders will move elsewhere then surely this will move lower over the next few months.
Thats interesting brombarb. I have noticed the last few years that the trading swings across aim seem to have narrowed. When any rns states even the slightest negative the share in question is massively oversold, but positives tend to have little effect, unless it is huge. It is as though by keeping the private investor effectively “locked into” a share for long periods the chances of the investor giving up and selling at a loss are higher, because most small investors tend not too understand how to trade effectively. I have monitored a few shares over the last 18 months and when bad news has dropped the msg board is always full of the hopeful posts about recovery only to watch the share price fall away over the following weeks. I no longer buy into the prospect of upcoming news, and instead wait until the positive comes. Fear of missing out is emotional connection, the rns itself is the reality. In terms of 88e, daves statements about creaming the curve and the right time to deal were spot on, he was planning for success. Hopefully the farm out deal will change our fortunes.
Seems to me that the ANN/RNS is an appeasement update to take the heat off at the AGM. I'm not expecting any further updates now until after the AGM. Quite unnerved by the overtly cautious statements about the farm out deal.
morale must be at an all time low now and throughout 88e. I know we have other projects and winx was only 25-30% possibility but Its been 4 years of not much luck and not much oil including personal loss. Further dilution will raise eyebrows with nowt coming out of the ground. Ideal time for a buyout maybe, especially those that have been in the data room maybe?
I thinks its good. Am sure theres big money to be made showing other oil companies where not to drill. Seems the curse of 88e could be about to strike again. Why would anyone enter a farm out if winx fails, more like a buyout.
I was surprised but glad it held up to the end, was expecting it to fall back a bit. I hovered over the buy button a few times today, with a 4.5p average i want to bring that down a bit more. Happy with buying under 2p to average down, So many times a good Friday sees a monday retrace so will see, although sentiment appears to have changed,
I tried averaging down before the last consolidation. The descent continued, seems the same pattern happening again here. 15p to break even for me, but you never know.
Never fails to deliver.
