Isn't it lovely to have so many posters concerned about our wealth. Hour after hour they're warning us of a truly bleak outlook for our investment in PFC. We should cherish their commitment to our financial welfare. After all xmas is coming and I'm sure their noble motive is to spare us from destitution.

Curious as to why the below was included in RNS - Rolls-Royce SMR is progressing well through the regulatory process in the UK, entering stage 2 of the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process. First power is still planned in the early 2030s, which will be dependent on securing orders and the outcome of the final investment decision by the UK Government.
Planned cost increases in both Electrical and Small Modular Reactors (SMR) to meet development milestones resulted in an increased operating loss of £(78)m versus £(48)m in the prior period.
Trading cash flow was an outflow of £(42)m versus an outflow of £(30)m in the prior period, with SMR costs largely covered by third party funding.

Petrofac chosen by Shell for scopes in Oman
Petrofac, a leading provider of services to the global energy industry, has been selected by Shell to undertake new Engineering and Procurement Services (EPS) scopes in Oman.
The first is a five-year EPS contract for Shell’s Block-10 Mabrouk Phase-2 Project, located in the Al Wusta Governate of Oman – around 400km from the capital, Muscat. The contract was awarded following a competitive tender and the scope includes well-pads for multiple wells, remote manifold stations and connecting pipeline, including water infrastructure for well development and a Field Operations Base.
Two further contracts, to provide residual engineering and procurement services to complete Phase-1B of the Block-10 development, were secured under Petrofac’s global Enterprise Framework Agreement with Shell.
Don't think PFC has anything to be concerned about reputation wise. Pretty sure Shell will have done all due diligence before commiting to PFC.
Slightly bemused as to why the planned North Sea offshore platforms strikes by PFC workers isn't considered a factor In current share price . Shorter were aware of plans for a while now. My guess is price will float upwards.
