Hi m8 Last year we refurbished Clair ridge input pipe everything completed for BP done a deal I am 100% certain or wouldn't have finished it. Question 1.Regarding tanks all 16 tanks have never ever been operational all at the same time due to various repairs required for insurance and obviously safety reasons I would say at least four to five offline at this moment.Question 2 Yeah bring on 3 out ov the 4,5 gets the tanks up and running say for end ov year for reasons beyond me am not a numbers man could be for upturn on production for Clair ridge or storage but I can tell you they ain't doing it for no beneficial reasons in the future thanks.
Hi Romaron and the rest of the lads .1st point regarding Re Work ov tanks very unusual to do 3 tanks in since I have been there since August 2014 usually only complete 1 tank per contract due to the amount of different trades involved in getting tanks up to standard for insurance. So in my opinion it's not part ov a contract with BP. 2nd point BP have been trying to get out of SVT since I got there due to unable to run the place cost efficient they ain't as clever than they think ,in the other hand since bringing in Enquest have seen massive changes not as much downtime lost ,mothballing jobs half way through them and more organized job officers and C.O.W lot quicker at getting permits out and signed off,Loads ov different cost saving points I can list from canteen to cabins we have breaks in transport from job to job ,start finish time more promptly they are on your case from the minute you start. 3rd point Clair ridge last year BP were threating to pull out if it would have happened SVT would have closed I can guarantee that ,as far as I am aware they done a deal so the tanks scenario is of the cuff something is planned for either short term Fix or planned for the future .Any questions and al try to answer them for you Cheers.
Totally different subject .Regarding SVT having worked at Sullon Voe on and off since 2014 have just received fone call for start in July Enquest are refurbishing 3holding tanks to store oil weather dependent can do 1 tank in 6 weeks should be completed 3 tanks by end October start November my source informs me No Bull**** .Am also hearing that they sourced and bought oil very cheaply during the low prices we seen early am 50/50 on this point but tanks are a defo cheers.
Hi chilting worked on sullen voe on and off for 4 years .1to 2 tankers a week is all they ever done from my memory also worked on piers 1 and 2 both cranes blasted and re painted pier 3 and 4 never got maintained so possibly still the same was there 2014 until 2017 when BP ran the place terribly mothballed jobs half way through them ,getting overpriced on jobs from all contractors ,either didn't care or C.O.W were useless but of both from my experience with them .Since Enquest took over things have changed if you want to know cost cutting theve done ask me and al drop you some info cheers
