I read the Gov't article on the BBC business news feed, it may have been on Tuesday as its not there now, may still be on there website.

It's common practice & nothing to fear IMO, it will probably be included in the SS masterplan, together with some tasty horizontal figures, which I believe will make the market take notice when we get the CPR & the flow rates.

Whilst remaining firmly on the fence, between you both/all, some companies will consolidate for one primary reason IMO & its simply to make the share more attractive, by either to reducing the SP (ie £40 down to £4) or the other way ( 0.4 up to £4) for the same reason GLA

you can't always use trade activity as a gauge , I have bought shares in the past when no one else has, then the next day they have shot up, so you shouldn't take it on face value, patience is key, the vast majority of shares bought are being held long term. ATB

Previous posters suggest its the Market Markers trying get people to sell by holding the SP down, when its performing much better than what's being show, then when you try to get back it will cost you more, apparently they make a profit somehow

I'm no expert & I'm probably totally wrong but firstly, well spotted, I've read the RNS a few times & never picked it up, the only thing I can offer is modern machinery uses the metric measuring system & I haven't a scooby how old the rig is, with this in mind I am pretty sure if the rig hails from the USA, then again I am pretty sure they still widely use feet & inches, or as my mentor used to say when I was an apprentice 'English' GLA

yeah that's inevitable that the MM's want there pound of flesh but with the outlook for the long term, they don't worry or fool me in the slightest (they just want to try and panic us investor's into selling IMO of course) over time we will all prosper.

Yes, that's an excellent analogy, Christmas for me this year is making me feel like it used to when I was a kid. I can't wait to see what possible goodies are instore for us and beyond that, the fact that we're in well ahead of the big institutions is icing on my Christmas cake GLA

before the nay sayers & the trolls awake from their slumber, as we approach the market close I thought I should highlight a fact I have mentioned before & one which deserves to have its own thread & its this, with the number of shares in issue (for arguments sake say 6.5B) the actual percentage being traded in any one day is approximately half of one percent, so the next time someone says 'look at all those sells' remember, that 99.5% of us Ukogers are sitting quite happily waiting, like all long term traders do, for the day their goals are reached. all IMO blah blah GLA

Zib The big sells that are putting you off! ( total shares traded today is 32m ) with the total amount of shares in issue, equates to less than half a percent. meaning that 99.5% of shareholders are happily invested in UKOG thems the facts ATB

You gotta feel for a guy who has to pay £157 in fines! I think not, I wonder if he burned his hands in the concrete? his carbon footprint certainly increased after all the resoures mobilised to free him from his concrete gloves, but at least he can still find it in his heart to smile for the media whilst holding his errr….. plastic cup and no doubt he will pop it back in his plastic holdall, hopefully he wont spill anything on his micro fleece or his nylon t-shirt before he walks of in his nylon and foam filled trainers
