\wow i bow down to greatness, i have a trumpet beside me next to my bugle. Our band took 20 years to build & covid dismantled it in a few months, we're due to perform at Durham Cathedral in the summer, gonna be televised, we did a gig for Prince Charles & he loved it. we're pretty versatile musically. swing band, jazz, concert & marching band. oh & the buglers, we play upfront no music to follow, factor in a drill display & playing at 140, but its great. i wish you well with your investments & wishing you're daughter all the very best for her future.

Just back from virtual band camp, now that's a scary place but a shed load of hard-working talent, Cadets & Staff. Anyway,
fortunately, i can't remember many jokes, but a new buzz word i picked up at the camp is 'Embrace The Madness'

I enjoy reading the whole menagerie of posts on here, i only have a modest holding in EAU, when I grab a few more, which i do regularly, today i bought £200 worth, but it all mounts up.

I think I am a little quackers :) I'm on holiday at the minute although I'm participating in the very first virtual band camp, it's actually quite good & the best part is I get to annoy the neighbours & will get paid into the bargain ATB

Some cracking posts today & great info along the way, I have had a cheeky little top up myself this morning
Since we're all lining our ducks in a row, I thought a duck joke would be prudent
Duck waffles into a bar & flutters onto a bar stool
The barman asked can I help you?
The duck says 'got any bread
The barman says no this is a pub,
The duck looks round a bit & again asks
Got any bread
The barman bangs his hand onto the bar & says 'look we don't sell f*****g bread
The drops his head & ponders a while
Then humps onto the bar & asked again
Furious the barman said if you ask one more time I swear I will nail your f*****g beak to the bar
Shocked the duck leaves the pub
About an hour later the duck waddles back in & jumps back on the bar stool
The barman says what the f**k do you want now
The duck says 'got any nails'
No says the barman

He is visited by a euromillion rep & asks Geordie if he has decided what he's going to do, Geordie says the only thing for certain is that I'm definitely never going to work ever again
The rep, interested he asks about his job,
Geordie tells him I've worked in the big market for 30 years cleaning the gents toilets, he says that's where he met the wife, she cleans the ladies toilets & we've been together for 28 years,
The rep enquiries if Mrs Geordie is also going to retire

Someone on another BB said if you have enough complaints they'll take action, the best thing we can do in the meantime is to be mindful that what s going on here is a desperate attempt to infiltrate the BB cause unrest, they may well control the springs but they can't fight Pig's resolve to keep a tight hold of our shares

I do remember reading that, to short a stock, they borrow a holders shares!
I E yours, mine etc which is diabolical in itself, to think we could be lining their pockets with our
F,N shares, to decrease your wealth using your own shares, parasites springs to mind.
You can prevent this by placing a sell order on your holding, a bit like saying keep off the grass ffs
Obviously put a stupidly outrageous high price that it won't sell at, understanding I can't fathom out the actual mechanism. Maybe it could be used by us individuals to put the ointment into the fly do to speak, would this halt the shorting?

The thing about the accounts was mentioned a while back on another BB apparently LSE can easily check if someone opens multiple accounts on here, if you think someone has done this it's breaching the rules, inform LSE they're likely to ban & delete all history etc
