I didn't read your deleted posts, which you have stated were the truth/factual etc.
Then you use ' The fog on the Tyne' as part of your analogy.
The song is about having 'nowt' being skint and laying claim to the fog on the Tyne and absolutely nothing to do with pollution!
Because of the natural topography on the Tyne, fog on the river is a rarity, nowhere in the lyrics is there any reference to pollution or jumping salmon. some here may not be aware it was actually a local band Lindisfarne, had a hit in the 70's.
I'm in no trying to start anything here. But your post on this thread is riddled with inaccuracies.
