Hello evJon, Can assure you the AGM did take place at the specified venue and at the specified time documented on the Letter to the Shareholders dated 11th November 2011. Below is copied from iii channel pirate - 5 Dec'11 - 17:01 - 16758 of 16758 I did manage to get to the Cambridge AGM today, you know, the one that the Iberian Directors cancelled !! The Board comprised of Mr Newman (CMR Director), Mr Slater, Mr Robins, (both Iberian and CMR Directors), and Mr Burton, CMR Director only. Also present was Allianz and the two biggest private investors that CMR have, besides CMR Broker, Registrar, and other concerned shareholders. The meeting was conducted in a civilised manner, and there was no shouting, spitting, kicking or fighting. On a serious note, then Mr Philip Newman convened the Meeting at 09-31. It was then stated by Mr Newman immediately, that as a result of certain critical developments affecting the Company and it’s business, the directors had decided to recommend and propose that this AGM should be immediately adjourned until a date to be advised but no later than 31st January 2012. The Iberian Directors then spoke about how good they have been doing with “this and that” and if it were not for them CMR would already be history. CMR shareholders then countered by reminding those Directors how inefficient and unsuccessful they had been and that we (CMR) have still not received our Iberian shares which was a part of the sale conditions of Lomero-Poyatos to Iberian. A vote was then taken regarding the adjournment, and it was “no contest” the meeting would NOT be adjourned. With that, Mr Newman stated he would resign immediately there and then, followed by Mr Slater and Mr Robins saying the same. Mr Newman and Mr Robins left the meting immediately. Mr Burton took the “chair” and continued with the meeting. ALL Resolutions, other than the Resigned Directors Resolutions were duly voted on, and a UNANEMOUS vote to each remaining Resolution was passed. Without me going on in detail about other matters, then it was agreed a meeting of major shareholders would be convened in the very near future to discuss the strengthening of the B.O.D. and discuss the next action for your Company. WATCH THIS SPACE AS THEY SAY.
The AGM went ahead then yesterday. Looks as all the Iberian Gold Directors have resigned before being voted off. CMR has a direction again and further news will come shortly !!
Oh well - nothing changes with CMR does it. At least they are consistant !!
MR Burton told me last Friday we are having an AGM, and it will be November 11th, at 9-30am, 1 Wimpole Street, London. Hhmmmm - Armistice Day at 9-30am
I have contact the company recently after hearing "rumours". It looks as though a relist will not happen. Two possibilities, (1) all assets to be sold individually, creditors to be paid off (including directors salaries), and what is left over split between the shareholders. (2) an offer to buy CMR in its entirety from another company. It does look as this is as good as it is going to get, so we now have to hope that either any one of the two possibilities above does happen.
Hi Guys, just to wish you all a good Christmas. CMR has let us all down, but with their recent about turn in the communication dept I thought we were actually "on our way" to a remarkable survival, but it has all gone quiet again and even my positive thinking has sunk to all time lows with so much to loose. Come on CMR, surprise us and relist and start trading again in 2011. GLA
Well it looks as though CMR are back to their old self again. Letter to the Shareholders said that an AGM is expected to be by September 2010. I have enquired recently and it will NOT be by September, and probably somewhere by middle of October now, (that is unless it gets put back even further again)
Yes, getting more interesting by the day. More news soon.
What - no one posted on here yet about the Company letter to shareholders that will be arriving with them next week !! YES I know believing will be seeing, and yes you will be seeing I have been told in no uncertain terms.
Hi Guys, well back from holiday and can say I am dissapointed there is no news. I have enquired and have been told it is on it's way but has been delayed as some further news may be added. NOTHING NEW THEN, STILL THE SAME OLD CMR!!
Hi shibs, best let CMR tell it officially as I would only be accused of "fiction". Lets say it is not bad news!! You have been patient for 18 months now so another week or two won't matter.
Watch out for a company announcement either next week or the week after !!
Now sorry to offend a certain person, but as the majority of posters on here will be pleased to know that CMR have issued an update on the front page of their web-site. More news to follow in the not too distant future, but sorry I can't break silence on just what it is at this point Thank you "nice 1" for your support Heno614 / evJon - yes a shame a squabble had developed unintentionally but due to circumstances beyond my control I could not defend myself on here. I can assure everyone on here I have been working to help resolve the CMR / BlueCrest situation for CMR and ALL of us shareholders, so obviously could not divulge certain information that was, and still is, a sensitive issue. Lets just say that I have received letters from BlueCrest Lawyers threatening legal action against myself should I continue to investigate and make public information I have found.
n-l-i-a-p - yes there is plenty of news that has NOT been pulished hear, or any other boards for that matter. Things have definitely moved on but as I have been told by evJon that as I am, quote, "in bed with CMR then this board is not for me", I have confirmed I will no longer post any news I have. Sorry my friend, better ask evJon to see if he knows anything, but can assure you there is a lot more news.
Pisgah, ...........This I find confusing as the assets were supposed to go for $18m to Direct response media!........ I can answer this exactly, but as evJon has posted about me, quote, "You may feel you are in bed with CMR and working closely in which case this forum if probably not the place for you to post in relation to that" unquote, then I suggest you ask him to answer your question / remark. I can even tell you what the next piece of news will be...........but hey, this forum is not the place for me to be posting according to evJon. Best of luck everyone, and can defininitly confirm no more posts from me..............all questions to evJon.
O.K. evJon, have relayed your message back to Mike Burton and advised him to get on with things of more importance. You may be right I look to be too optimistic with the information that has been published, but lets say I am party to information that has not yet come into public domain, and that is because I spend hours doing research, and passing it on to CMR in order they can act on it if appropriate, for the benefit of us all, including yourself. I cannot detail what I have done / found out / and put into place, as to do so would jeopardize actions that ARE happening, but I can assure you that if you are still a CMR shareholder, you will be happy later on. Seeing my posts seem to "niggle" you a bit, then I will refrain from posting any more and just get on and help all "behind the scenes". Can I ask you a question though - what have YOU done to help find a solution to CMR's present situation ??
evJon, Thanks for getting back to me. Hopefully I will have a reply for you very soon. I am in contact with CMR only as a shareholder also, but seem to have a quicker responce than some !!, so will post as soon as reply is received from CMR. Regards, SH
evJon - to ease your mind about the 404 errors you state is showing on the web-site. This "404" is a computer code number on a current defunct Investor Relations sub-section of the web-site, so nothing to panic about. Secondly, would you paste the reply from CMR on here to your original e-mail of the 8th May. I can get this cleared up for you, again easing your concerns of what you "think" is happening. There are things happening as you state, but you may be pleasantly surprised to know that they are for the good and not the worst. I look forward to seeing your reply from CMR, and then I can get the content clarified so as you and any other shareholders you may have worried, feel easier. It is possible you may be misinterpreting the content, so hopefully lets allay your fears. SH
A little birdie has indicated it might be two steps forward and only one backwards in the very near future. Watch this space as they say. I am off soon for 10 days holiday so sorry if I can't post for a couple of weeks, but lets say I hope to come back to some good news !!. (where have I heard that before ?) GLA and keep your eyes open for any news.
Hi gutsache - wish you luck with your meting if you get the oportunity. I think it would depend on where we live in relation to London, assuming the Directors would meet any of us at their registered office. MB does a lot of meetings in London, but I understand that CA lives in Ireland. As I live 150 miles from London, and a fair few more than that to Ireland, then a telephone call is less expensive than a journey to London or Ireland. I have talked to MB recently, but as usual then one step forward and two steps back seems to be the answer to all the questions if you read between the lines.
