The flip side of this low period in vanadium prices is that it is a great chance to see how Bushveld really performs at the low end of the pricing spectrum. Anyone who has actually built and run a business knows that you learn very little about your company when prices and profits are high, and everything about your company when they aren't. If Bushveld produce what they have said many, many times that they will - a business that is robust and cashflow positive throughout the V price cycles, then investors will see a real demonstration of a company that is insulated (as much as is practicable) against market trends, before VRFB demand starts really putting pressure on demand. It will be a huge endorsement of the underlying robustness of the company and one investors should welcome seeing on full display, and crucially, being tested. I for one believe that some are going to be surprised. Particularly those waiting for the results to buy in.
