Alfa is a star and his knowledge is second to none.
But my goodness there is a serious need for this board to get to grips with the fact that investors who are all fighting for the same end result don't have to agree on absolutely everything and when they don't agree it is reasonable to just respect each others opinions and disagree.
Pdub, I also respect you a great deal, but honestly have a look at the way you characterise and collectivise people, most of whom have done the one thing that actually does make a real difference - to buy shares in Bushveld Minerals. You could perhaps realise that people have other specialisms and value to add to that you individually deem valuable. Whereas Alfa understands science, he doesn't necessarily understand marketing as well and I know he would admit that, where you like to regale stories of how you have supported Bushveld and are good at encouraging people, you don't necessarily add much technical info like someone like BBN. Everyone here has strengths and weaknesses - I know I do - and tolerating that is part of creating a healthy BB.
And a healthy BB should be a collective of experience, skillets and between genuine investors, should also include variety in opinions (and we all know when the line from genuine posters who might disagree strays into bad actors who want to disrupt and they are not the same thing) without those opinions resulting in descriptions of 'useless idiots' or 'endless negativity'.
Personally I think everyone could learn a little bit more respect for each other when most of us know exactly who has been here for years and who isn't out to cause trouble.
I think this inability to tolerate disagreement between known posters who are all on the same side actually makes people seem quite insecure and I know for me, it has definitely made me want to contribute less.
People can choose how they wish to proceed, but to disregard the value others can bring if you don't agree with it, just makes people seem very narrow minded. Perhaps this an opportunity for all of us to realise we can be part of affecting some improvements here, for the good of the wider community.
