Fortune said 'we are pleased with what we see in the market' in relation to brownfield. BBN suggested that as a sign at the very least that pricing and availability was agreed, if not an actual set of terms. I agree this focus on either brownfield or Mokopane being the catalyst for Bushveld may actually turn out to be wrong. In reality both Ophidian and BBN maybe right. In a bigger picture, I think when you combine an acquisition with Brits, mokpane greenfield and early Chinese ore deals and backing, you have an expansion programme that is distributed and longer term and builds in support for a growing VRFB/electrolyte business. We all know BMN want and will need to blast past 10000mtv to achieve this bigger picture and perhaps the combination of the two, along with Brits is in fact the answer here. Obsessing over which singular item changes BMN into a major player for me misses the point that it's the combination of all of their activities that is building the behemoth.
