There hasn't suddenly been a new supply of vanadium. The price will be a bit volatile due to the low volumes of trades and the market finding its level in a quieter period for the steel industry after the annual busy period. Volumes are light and the price has drifted a bit, but bear in mind there is still not enough to go around, buyers will be back into the market and the price will have to rise again. Any price drift is great for the underpinning demand for VRFB and this will provoke new buying as the price drops. I enjoy some of MM's posts but don't take everything he says at face value. He is paid to post, so there's always a reason why he chooses the narrative he does. Ask why his narrative is somewhat different following his recent China visit. There will be some ups and downs in the price, it's only natural to an extent but keep your eyes on the overall supply deficit and increasing demand profile. That hasn't changed and won't be changing anytime soon..
