Anyone who remembers JimmySt may agree he was similar. He was such a great shorters creation. For anyone who missed him his character was supposedly late 60's, retired in Benidorm. He arrived complete with del boy-esque catch phrases, calling 5p again 'riding the waves', warning us of the perils of living in the UK whilst regaling us with tales of sunny all day breakfasts.

It shows there is something radically wrong with society when license fee funded Gary Lineker gets paid as much as he does and taxpayer funded nurses get what they do. When you really need the NHS, you realise just how amazing the whole operation is. I would challenge anyone critical of the NHS to maintain that criticism when they are going through any kind of serious treatment.

It certainly feels like the vanadium spring is starting to coil again. Agreed on the hope we don't suffer spiking prices though. A more orderly market that allows projects to be planned effectively is exactly what is needed.

I am going to stick my neck out and say that everything currently happening makes me think the V price is going to start rising again before Chinese New Year.

If you had needed some V for a project at any time during the last 6 months, you would be thinking of buying now at current prices. If you can even get enough at these lower prices. Which I bet you can't.

We have identified another #Vanadium battery #VRB project somewhere in #China - ~RMB6 billion investment & a 2-staged construction. The first stage will be expected to be operational by 2020.

There is a similar article from the Guardian - I am sure their writers will have spent their 2018 Christmas breaks researching shares in enormous depth for the benefit of the general public.

The most interesting part is the review of their 2018 picks - reassuringly for readers of the article who may be weighing up investments for 2019, 9 out of 10 of their recommendations ended in a loss.

Very kind of them to provide 10 more for 2019.

This just shows no understanding of Bushveld, the vanadium market, the likely procurement paths this year for VRFB.

Having a daily view on a company like Bushveld that is delivering a complex and innovative long term plan is like looking through a keyhole at space. You are just never going to understand or appreciate its absolute majesty.

To then try and sell that idea to a room full of astronomers is a fools errand.

You just have to look around Twitter to see that the people who made money last year on AIM, in large part invested in BMN. Many of those same people had great years in 2017 because of the same share. Most tellingly, most seem to still be holding the majority, if not all their shares.

Obviously some, especially larger holders will have taken some profit to enjoy life a touch more along the way but many still havent. That's real conviction and where the real money is made long term.

I have been reading Warren Buffets book snowball, over New Year. It's a great book if you want to learn more about conviction holds like BMN and building your own snowball effect in your PF. My snowball is made of vanadium.
