All known domestic pumice and pumicite mining in 2016 was accomplished through open pit methods, generally in remote areas where land-use conflicts were not significant obstacles. Well we know that we are putting in an Environment Assessment (EA) to the BLM soon. The EA has to be completed in spring, so in order to do so we have to submit our Mine plan to them. This tells me that we should get a RNS very soon with those Mine plan details. Hold on to your hats folks, we are about to see some gains! fulmar29, Its true they are carcinogens but not to worry as most dust products are and there are a hell of a lot of mines in the USA. Thats why iv just posted wind direction and population in my last post.

DelG, Fantastick link mate thanks. Regarding their EA and populated area, Im hoping we dont get the same problems as them. Looking on google earth, there is very few buildings in a large area surrounding the CS Project. Tonopah is our closest populated area and that is over 20 miles away (SE) as the crow flies. there is a small camp stop (24hr stay only)(SE) about 12 miles away and the New Crescent Solar Tower is about 13 miles to the east.
