The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
The demand is huge from funders (AZ said)
Once inventory is IM, no risk to SYME
If people are concerned about funder, SYME do a strict DD check, I'm sure the inventory would be covered in this, I'm also sure the funder would have this aspect covered and happy with DD before parting with 100's of millions or even billions of £s.
Apologies Pipster
After I replied you then said your trying to see if from the funders point, I was only giving the view from SYME point.
I also thought from the question you thought there may be some risk of bad stock etc, hence the reason I said SYME is only the platform which takes the fee upfront and does not bare any of that risk.
Probably worth noting the DD checks too

Pipster
There is a fantastic research document around somewhere, the answer to your question about making much sense is no buddy.
I think the main point your missing is SYME is just the platform and doesn't take on that risk, so its slightly irrelevant to SYME, I'd only really start being worried about that it I was the funder.

Based on the original figures I wrote just on my projections I think you have got under excited and made the mistake of not adding a P/E 100.
Totally understand if you don't think that's possible, but I personally think its very possible, remember that's just 1% of Confidustria, that is without adding any clients from the USA UK and UAE.
If you think a P/E of 100 is huge, go and have a look at fintech P/E I don't expect you to take my word for, go and look.
OK just the companies that we have on board and the 1s waiting to go through DD with with a p/e of 40 could take us to around the 4p mark.
Check your calculations again buddy.

So my figures just from Confidustria
1,500 x 12,000,000 = €18billion
SYME profit @ 1.5% = €270million
270M \ 32B = 0.0084375
100 (P/E) x 0.0084375
SYME Share Price = 84p+
When you start looking at the USA and the UAE we really could start seeing huge figures next year, even if you want to be Conservative and half the P/E but start adding the the other regions in, we really could start seeing outstanding/phenomenal results.
Fintech at the moment is booming and SYME is at the moment a fantastic investment ...

Its quite clear that SYME seem to be getting the right team behind them, remember start ups do take time and taking everything into account, we seem to be moving alot quicker than people may see.
When the groundwork os finished and with the new onbarding process allt more efficient, the 1000 companies IM this year is certainly possible in my opinion and if we do think about what the figures will be next year.
The last RNS is sufficient and also the emails regarding the FCA not investigating should be peoples mind at rest, this is more time SYME have to complete the 1st transaction and deliver the news.
To note also the updates regarding USA and UAE, really could start trading with a exceptional re-rate.
I still have as much confidence in SYME and taking things into account the bigger picture may be bigger than we are all thinking.

What would you like to discuss regarding funding?
If you listened to AZ, he said the demand was huge from funders, yes I have taken his word for it and just awaiting the name of the funder.
Do totally agree with you that we need the name and confirmation but sure AZ will deliver.
Do we all remember Quadrivio / Confindustria? I will use Italy and only Italy as an example. This will blow your minds. Confindustria have 150,000 clients on their books. All in Italy.
Let's say SYME have a tiny percentage of 1% from the 150,000 clients = 1,500 clients
Average client IM of €12M
P/E 100 (FinTech)
1,500 x 12,000,000 = €18billion
SYME profit @ 1.5% = €270million
270M \ 32B = 0.0084375
100 (P/E) x 0.0084375
SYME Share Price = 84p+
This is only Italy and only 1% of clients from our partner. Now think of the rest of the world? Italy is very small.

These are only my opinions, I know a few may think a 1000 clients os ambitious but I've been reading and the RNS's etc and it looks like AZ is really working on scalability and the efficency of the onboarding process.
Having said that my P/E could be very Conservative, we could see between 40 - 100 P/E quite quickly.
Looking forward to AZ announcing the name of the funder and the progress in the USA and UAE.
Looking at ALL the information that is available, I can't see any genuine reason to think this would not come good.
At the moment, everything seems t be moving in the right direction.
Also starting to see some interesting names with fantastic backgrounds and CV's involved which is always a positive sign.
I've also been looking at scalability, just the average size of the contracts we will probably see getting higher introducing USA and the UAE as in general companies are bigger.
Also to note fintech at the moment seems to have a high P/E. Will be interesting to see where this goes over the next 12 months.
1000 clients
Average £14m
P/E 30 (which for fintech is Conservative)
Could see an SP of around 19-20p
I've also been reading through lots of comments and seen some mentioning 'where do the customers go on the website?' Its important to read back through the RNS's and it gives you a breakdown of client origination.
I think looking at the numbers which we have ready to go, with a much easier/quicker/simple on boarding process also the new regions getting up and running, I don't see why we can't have 1000 clients IM by the end of this year.
Providing everything is OK behind (have no reason to think otherwise) I think timeliness have been missed but things could move very quickly indeed.
'READY TO FLY' comes to mind
GLA obviously these are my opinions only
Well there lots of arguing and bickering on here yesterday, would be nice to see some of the old posters back with their research, I think they may have gone to telegram, can't say I blame them.
Hopefully we will be up amd running soon, things seem to be moving in the right direction.

Thinkbigtime .. just had a read through previous posts, he is obviously just an immature teenager that's allowed his phone longer on the weekends, needs a back hander of his old man for being such a prat
