Surely the current govt are going to want to show the electorate progress on the gas/power issue before this year's election. They've not got long to go now. It's in everyone's interest to get this moving. It's been a long painful wait, but hopefully we are all going to be rewarded at long last for keeping the faith. NT-3/CH-1 drill has always been my target. I just had no idea I'd still be waiting for the drill in 2020 ! Best of luck all.
Hi TT, my comment was not in any way an attack, apologies if it came across like that, and I had understood you were unwell during that period and wished you well... I was at the EGM but only a flyer as didn’t have time to stick around. So pity I didn’t have time to talk to you or the other guys then (notwithstanding I’m still positive and heavily invested in AEX) .. anyway, my point was that it’s good (health and life permitting) to remain vocal during positive and negative times, especially if you take a prominent position / role in promoting the company.
I’m very pleased you're feeling much better now and it’s nice to see you back posting here too. Sadly AAOG looks like a complete shambles, but you win some and you lose some..
Interested to know your plans .. ? Sell up or stick around with any hope of recouping losses ?
All the best :-)
Morning TT hope you’re well.. I don’t doubt your intentions were honest and we are all responsible for our own choices.
Just wondering, are you now offloading your shares or do you really believe there is a realistic hope for salvation here ??
I respect your research, knowledge and contributions, but from past experience on Aminex it stung a bit that after trumpeting the company for so many years and highlighting all your share purchasing, when things took a turn for worse you suddenly went AWOL and popped up months later to say you’d totally sold out..
I’d be amazed if we don’t see 40p very soon after deal completion. I think this re rate will be gradual by significant.. next year should be a great one as drilling activities recommence. And best of all funded by large cash flows! All the best and thanks to all the regular contributors here over the past couple of years. Been a difficult road but we are nearly on the home straight.
Well it certainly helps explain why the Mtwara licence extension has taken so long to be granted.
The Ntorya development licence is a different kettle of fish, and if ARA are wanting both licences granted at the same time (this makes perfect sense if they're about to commit multi million $ into the project, and they seem to be calling the shots with the Tanz govt based on Robbie's comments), then you can start to understand the time taken..
It would be amazing if we get both granted together. Then it really would be full steam ahead with very little to hold us back!
“ It’s actually pretty amazing to watch how quickly the Tanzanian government is working with the majors oil and gas companies in joint ventures to tap into these oil and gas resources. “
Oh lol ??....
Yes Steve, I’m assuming they have not been budgeting on a work programme of that scale in 2020 and will be fuming having not been consulted ..
So not only do AEX not bother keep their shareholders up to speed, they don’t even bother to tell their JV partner.. p*ss poor, but why doesn’t that surprise me ?! Hopefully SOLO can get some answers and maybe pass them onto shareholders too!
Excellent news ! :-)
Hey Crusty.. I don't think the BOD have much of an idea exactly when the licence will drop. This is dependant upon the Tanz govt. Could be in a week or two or could be in a month or two. But it certainly looks like it is coming quite soon IMO.
Why would AEX and APT spend time and money on the construction of an access road to Chikumbi-1 and the construction of the drilling surface location, if they didn't expect drilling activities to start very very soon. Otherwise, it would just be pouring money down the drain as the surfaces would surely start to degrade during the heavy rains if left too long?
My personal feeling is that we will see the CH-1 drill early 2020. And it is excellent news that the drill is not weather window dependant.
