4.5% gain yesterday on the back of excellent Q2 results. However, 3.1% down today for no apparent reason… unless I’ve missed some negative headline news??

Honestly, if results like today fail to provide any SP growth then we may as well all sell up. Double digit growth in most of the fundamental areas of the business and market reaction to GSK is zilch!!

£14 a share is already a disgrace, add in these outstanding set of results and still no success in moving the dial. Completely lost for words at this stage.

I am both amazed but not amazed at the SP reaction to the positive outcome from The Delaware court ruling yesterday.

Had the ruling gone against GSK yesterday we would have seen a huge drop in SP, maybe even 7-8%.

The news goes in GSK’s favour and we still see a 2.3% drop today.

It is beginning to feel like’ No matter how much GSK outperform every financial quarter, increase pipeline, win court rulings nothing is going to change in terms of a positive outcome for the SP.

Is this SP doomed to failure.

It’s about 35% of gross income

Shock GSK has less than half the bounce back today compared to the rest of the Pharma industry.

Currently at 1.7% compared to AZ who have just crept over 4%.

The drop in this share price is catastrophic today and almost double that of anyone else in the pharma industry. Any insights??

8% of claimants remaining will not be attractive to the big law firms and they risk high legal fees for a small amount of gain, therefore I would fully expect these to settled in line with the 92% at best.

No, but only about 8% of cases outstanding so the balance of what needs to be put aside is very small considering the agreed settlement figure of the 92% of claimants.

Exactly what I said the other day!! Every press release related to good news ends the day in the red. You have to wonder if this share will ever improve?

I am starting to believe GSK should stop sharing positive news headlines. Every time they do this the share price drops quite substantially.

Where has this 3% drop even materialised from??

We’re going to be giving shares away at this rate.

There must be some serious pressure on the board to turn this around soon.

I guess we can expect to be in the red again come the end of the day then!! That’s what tends to happen following any positive news on this share.

This stock really is a car crash. Up less than 1% now following the 6% rise yesterday. Negative Zantac news results in 11% drop, positive news i.e. finally the company settles by what sounds like best case scenario, and it only results in a 0.9% share price increase. GSK could cure all cancers and still not return for shareholders. I think I’m finally out if this gets to £16 . Okay, grumble over!!

Nearly 12% drop in the past 12 months. No negative headline news but lots of positive pipeline news. Honestly I’m baffled by this stocks and not a word from Emma or the board to encourage or reassure investors.

The sector is indeed down but it should not have had this level of impact to GSK IMO

AZ down largely to two main factors. Failed phase 111 on what was deemed a blockbuster cancer treatment and the China bribery claims.

This share is a joke. 10% drop in the past month for no apparent reason. Lots of positive pipeline news so I am really at a loss.

This can’t be down Zantac either given nearly all major hedge funds have said any liability is already factored into the price.

There could be 2 million jury trials but with zero scientific evidence to back up any claims the truth will prevail. As a shareholder I welcome these trials (if they even get there) and the sooner the better in my opinion to expose these crooked ambulance chasing lawyers.

When lawyers are able to post just one scientific report evidencing Zantac causes cancer I will start to listen.

There isn’t one in existence at this time.

This is just a clear and obvious case whereby ambulance chasing lawyers are looking to fill there pockets with zero considerations for the cancer sufferers.

This is clearly a strategy to avoid any risk before the 70,000 ambulance chasers get thrown out on appeal in Delaware
