As per the last RNS we should get financial results tomorrow as 31st is a bank holiday, MMs trying for cheap shares again I see I really wish I had funds to top up!!

At a guess I would say probably both placing and wanting cheap shares! Would be lovely to see 0.50p today I’m more likely to faint if that came with no news with my luck haha

A day closer to news, no drop in SP today and markets were down in general across the board so happy with close 2% up, hopefully this wait pays off for us all, feel like MMs are playing games and know we’re due news and a breakout anytime until then it’s a waiting game for all unless you have funds to top up

So 0.3725p showing as sells are buys, that’s good looking like MMs games again they know news is close imo

I know it’s hard to stay off of here I should be working lol, I agree the SP will do what it wants until further news then we’ll get the next leg up, the resolution being agreed is to me detailing the whole project so I’m more than happy to wait it out now, for me it’s a matter of when not if now and each day gone we’re closer to news

Jsmith the only way DISH can get a good funding deal is if the SP rises a lot but it hasn’t with the addition of major chains so don’t know how they are going to do it now, I’ll be very interested in what Aidan has up his sleeve

Completely agree Shaa as soon as PSC is announced that’s the start of the massive news flow to come and I personally think it will all come quite quickly, i believe Art and the team wants this as much as us, not worried in the slightest at the SP today as I know in a few months we’ll be a lot higher and that’s what I’m here for, Baserite mentioned additional licences that could pop up very soon as well so that will be a nice surprise along the way and exciting times ahead I think I definitely wouldn’t want to be out of this now!!

Copl - size of the prize

As posted yesterday, potential number of wells up to 30 in the field with COPL share upto 36,000 bopd based on their 15% expected ownership structure 90 days after first oil.

That 90 days is material for funding access arrangements, assuming a Reserve Based Lending facility may be gained in period. Production pays back the RBL credit facility, increasing in scale as field development continues.

An example as follows for Eland oil in Nigeria from 2018, with a RBL facility of $70m at that time:

This was based on production of just 8000 bopd, and Gross 2P reserves: 44.1 million barrels.

COPL upto 36,000 bopd potential and their share of 1 Billion barrel estimated reserves in CPR at 150 m barrels.

Eland oil were sold to Seplat Petroleum Development in 2019, valued at £375m and special dividend paid to each shareholder of 166p per share.

Further points from this:

- Establish a solid and growing production base - within 6 months
- COPL funds from RBL in Nigeria, allows other asset procurement and development
- Sale value of 15% of the field would be substantial in time

Each to their own, but great to Invest in where the company will be in a years time, the SP now is irrelevant.

Shaa I agree you need to take a longer term view even a few months, by Mid December according to charts on a group in on we should hit 1p if we hit it before that even better but need a longer term approach here!
