The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
@maestro: you seems to have lot of time for GDR, from first thing in the morning to late at night! Do you have no other work to do? Why do all these research when you have no money invested here?
Oh sorry, forgot that posting negative here is your work..how much did you collect today so far???
@phil: we are already in the middle. Looking at RSI figures that shows 'oversold', the chances of going up is much more than coming down. I am sure the SP price will hover between 60 and 80p for few days and that doesn't worry me. I would like to average it down but am not in position to move any funds without losing out elsewhere. Looking at the GDR habit, 20-30p movements in one day is not unsual and before we know, we should be in low 100s soon.
@Stevek: I agree but imagine how many novice people lost their money during the down days in Cine, helped by those derampers and selling at loss? I always planned to come out by end of March from Cine with £1 target and I did. My target here is 160p and I don't see us reaching there with any difficulty. People just need to hold on. FDA and other approvals are delayed not rejected. Products are in the pipeline, not cancelled. Two long term businesses have come to fruitation and can't be erased now. I agree that the market is a bit cautious with GDR but that is the name of the game.
Thanks 2hott. We have to fight them. They keep labelling us as 'rampers' rather than investors. Why on earth anyone would invest in a company if they don't see profit and talk about the potential returns? No one is here to lose money.
@Guy: saw your post earlier about the sales. I don't have any objection in you having doubt on future sales. This is where we differ. You are looking at the possible negativity and I am looking at the positive.
My take is that BC has included the capacity in description of the GDR product. I am sure they have done formal editing and scrutiny as well as market research before taking it up in US and EU. Not many products are advertised with their capacity figures. They must have some feedback from interested parties who have asked the question on supplies and capacity.
Remember, BC is not some novice company. Eeverything that goes on their multinational website must be going through thorough scrutiny. That is enough to give me confidence in GDR.
I believe that sales will come through, the only question is when.
@punter: I didn't invent those figures like your mates. They are there for everyone to see on BC and GDR websites. Why on earth they advertise it if there is no intention to sell? We don't know whether it will sell or not but my post was purely to show your idiot friends what ramping sounds like. Read my previous posts for more realistic figures.
BC has just started selling them in EU last month. I will write To BC and GDR to suggest that they should get your advice on how to do business and point out to them that what they are doing is rubbish.
This is my tunnel vision and I am happy with it. I don't keep going on and on about this 40 times unlike you.
lets talk about ramping.
Cytiva capacity of 10000 beads/ hr gives us 240000/ day. Looking at Denmark figures, there shouldn't be any problem to sell all of it globally.
£6 (NOT £16) profit per bead after all expenses = £1,440,000/day
=£525,600,000/ year income
x3 MCAP conservatively= £1,576,800,000
63,320,048 shares in issue
=£24.90 share price with the existing manufacturing capacity.
This is the potential we are talking about. Even if it is 10% of this, SP can reach 249p.
This is why I am invested in here. It is your choice not to look at the potential of your investment.
There is no point in arguing with this chap. He has taken this extremely seriously and will reply to every post that brings any positivity here. I have reported him multiple times for being disruptive. The more people do it, the quicker he will get banned.
It says BC is supplying the bead based kit and capacity is increased to 170000 tests/ day. Cytiva can produce 10000 bead/ hr. If it is GDR then we don't need to sell anyone else. I guess the 170000 number will include lot of different PCR tests but if BC/ GDR gets 10% of that....
Also it states ''The laboratories works in three shifts and has had to deal with the challenge of hiring and training sufficient staff for the very large sample flow.'' Doesn't BC/ GDR have been promoting their tests to cover this particular problem as a full package deal? I am sure BC must have already pitched the GDR kit to them.
This is just one country in EU. Others must be working at the same pace or bigger.
Makes me wonder why to bother with FDA??
@Guy: not sure about you but I have made decisions on buying and selling based on certain BB conversations, especially when SP is moving really fast and you don't have time to do all the research in short time. Sometimes won and sometimes lost.
I know it is wrong but FOMO is terrible thing.
I hope Snoop isn't the one creating doubts on twitter! He is really bad in this game of investing. Everywhere he has gone, he is losing money. Basically very impatient.
'RNA extraction is done on Biomek i7 liquid handlers and consists of a bead-based kit from Beckman Coulter. Beckman Coulter has scaled up production to meet the need so far with respect to materials, reagents and consumables (including tips).'
Also mentions 96 well plate. I wonder how many 96 we'll plate using bead based kit BC is supplying? How on earth can anyone create a doubt in this? There is only one PCR kit that BC is selling.
Good try maestro but keep trying. Have a lovely weekend to everyone else.
