Our agreements are all with Valkor and Greenfield, so whatever happens with PQE at the POSP won’t include us, unless we sign something formal with them. But, Valkor are our north American oil sands partner so not sure where PQE fit in there. As it stands QFI are linked to Greenfield who are now focused on their new tar sands site and not the POSP, as per 2nd July Tomco RNS.

I guess what update you expect depends on what you made of the last RNS and IMC. The Utah samples will show without a doubt that msar and BioMSAR can be easily manufactured from the oil samples. What next? That’s the question.

Assuming you meant Maersk and not MSC. Maersk would need to start from scratch, however if MSC complete LONOs then there is technically no need for Maersk to do so as well. LONO is issued by an engine manufacturer and essentially says they have no objection to msar use in the tested engine. They can also in time extend the range of engines this will apply to assuming no issues occur.

So maersk and all the other shipping lines can use msar after LONO completes successfully if they are using the same engines as MSC, which most of them are.

Morocco is “a company expenses” size project, ie it can earn enough to pay our bills, but it will never make us rich that’s the reality, but as an important and necessary step it’s massive. If it comes off it means we are self funded and we know what that means for an AIM company. There’s talk of other potential projects in Morocco but if so it’s some way down the line. I’d settle for what’s on the table while MSC do the business.
