Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I have to say , me as well £35,000 worth from a few years back , since then have brought down my average but was very reluctant to throw more in the pot , hopefully things have started to improve, my 90 year old mother in law is trying her best with another cruise round the UK in a months time , maybe it’s time to buy a few more.
Feeling very comfortable with the knowledge that the funds will be there to draw down if and when .
Sticky , no better feeling or news than hearing those words spoken by the Doctor. Over the years there have been so many who have contributed to words of wisdom for and about why a lot of us are here, unfortunately a lot of those who were here have also gone due to the very thing that Sareum are aiming to succeed in defeating, so Yes enjoy the bubbles and give a toast to Sareum .
Here here.
Apologies ( Yolkers )
I’ve been having double Yokers all week.
Morning Sad, we were up at Kenmore in the early 1990s , it got down to minus 26c, snow 10 inches deep, we drank the bar at the Kenmore Hotel dry of their supply of a very nice whiskey called Glen Turret , fortunately the distillery wasn’t that far away. Back to Kenmore for a few more days and sample some more fine things from Perthshire.
Afternoon HBD , just got back to Oban , did a circle of the A828up to Port Appin through Glen Coe and back down the A82 , unfortunately not much sun today but the scenery is majestic.
Good afternoon HBD, we have just had 6 glorious days in Kenmore, moved on to Oban, sat on a patio overlooking the isles with a Grand Fish Platter for two takeaway from the fish shack, white wine , evening sun , what more could you want.
Good evening Carter 19 , I think you may have picked up on previous comments about Sirius from earlier comments, myself and others were involved with Sirius Minerals which unfortunately was sold on the cheap to Anglo American.
Libarahen, I think you can gather within a such a small amount of time from your email how much that Thoth 2 was held in the upmost respect as far as the majority of the Sareum community was concerned, on behalf of myself and I am sure for many others please convey our best wishes to his family, he has, and will be greatly missed.
Morning ASHpot, there will be a lot of people who are very resentful of the actions of C Fraser, I lost around £60,000 , my main beef with the episode was with the Government not backing the project, if the figures were to be believed, the amount of revenue that would have come back to the UK tax payer would have been enormous, from memory it was calculated as possibly 5% of GDP, apart from that ,it was the amount of work that local people would of had in a poorly paid area it’s just typical of what has been discussed on the board over the weekend, lack of foresight and professionalism in our politicians, I accept that everything and events like Covid 19 didn’t help .
8.06 am bought 1000 shares showing a sell .
Once again SOG , you are on the mark .
It’s that same thing that has appeared here in Lancaster and it has made us consume a few bottles of white wine outside in this glorious spring sunshine day.
It’s never easy to say goodbye Potnak . I lost my mother on the 24 th of March , she would have been 92 next birthday , fortunately we had taken the decision before lockdown started to bring mum to live with us so we had her here for 3 years . Sad times .
It is very sad to say goodbye to old friends who have contributed so much in their time and research to enlighten others .
Rest in peace Thoth2 and many others who unfortunately whose names I have forgotten .
Sorry. Take out (Lack of ) on my earlier post , should have re read what I posted.
I don’t think that there is anyone on this chat board who is not very concerned at the state that we as a country find ourselves in , invariably in my opinion the problem is coming from the public sector and the main culprits are our politicians, over the last 30 years the amount of critical decisions that had to be made and has been put off is shameful, until the time comes when we have more professional people in Parliament we are going to go from one crisis to another, lack of leadership starts at the top and works its way down .
Morning Alnwick,
It’s good to see your united on the way back .
