The elephant still in the room as far as I see it, is how exactly the mining operation will be funded.

Yes we know, there will be a strategic investor needed at some point

But how much will be new money and on what terms/security? ....... just how much additional share dilution will occur? Will that also be a primary means of funding mine development?

Impossible to predict where share price will be just on lithium prices when we have no idea of future m/cap as we dont know future total shares.

I think MET1 may have sold their remaining shares simply to fund the purchase of the warrants. They're opportunistic and not least bit interested in longer term.

Patience is the key.

Reading the SML comments. Many there have been holding since 2016 and only now see huge life changing returns.

CTL projects positioning was always good, a much cleaner lithium extraction miner in key sector of future energy production in worlds second largest area.

The potential of cash flow issues, regulatory/legal issues and not getting CEOL made this risky. Hero or zero.

Much of that zero risk has now been aliviated. And while not risk free the upside gain opportunity far exceeds the downside junk stock risk now imho.

It just needs patience and time. As buffet said "if you're not prepared to hold for 10 years, don't hold for 10 minutes".

Many LTH have held their nerve when things looked touch and go and zero was a possibility.

Look at the Macro picture and relax :)

Look at the CTL charts in Feb 2023. CTL at 162, SML at 0.27. You'd probably be arguing opposite on a Feb 2023 afternoon.

That's the mindset of a day trader.

Fundamental analysis of sector, CEOL award and longer view, (you dont need daily charts) should lead you to conclusion this is both a very good opportunity and it's early.

Or Good News followed by Metals One.

@TheLord1 you are right that we're still quite small, need institutional and more exposure, also that retail aren't going to move the need that much. Not sure CEOL is "priced in'? Metals one dumping 7m shares into the uptick of a current small cap is what's priced in.

@Ayecuramba I wouldn't put any money on Metals one waiting as long as 6 months to dispose of their remaining 5m+. The 7m deflated the last uptick, Next RNS with decent uptick, they will sell into again imho.

They were never really strategic investors as sold, pure opportunists after a quick flip + cheap future warrants. Who knew!

Hopefully lessons learned? and potential mitigations prior 2030 when they get next 20M

Even at pre CEOL. 0.1 x NPV / 203m shares is way higher than here.

Now with CEOL approved....., once PFS, contract ink dried and Strategic partner inbound we're in the 0.5 x NPV / 203m

There's massive "potential' upside.....and I'm here for it .

Reading the RNS...... on consultation with locals the awarded CEOL has prohibited the laguna verde lake from the available mining area. The attached map in the RNS shows the lake and it looks about 1/6th?? of area if to scale.

Not sure if that will reduce the PFS total output potential by similar scale 🤔

Similar to you. The biggest gamble I've ever taken, at 20% of total SIPP. Into 6 figures! Kept DCA'ing down, and always believed CTL potential upside was huge, downside was a real risk of junk stock and running out of cash. Zero or hero. Not countimg chickens here, but hooefully potantial for junk status is gone. As its retirement savings I'd reframed it, that it will either add 2 years to my retirement year target or I'm going to be buying back many years of my life and retiring earlier if it does what we all believed it potentially could. The future is looking a bit brighter this morning.
