I would be just interested in seeing that the test is working as expected, it being accurate, would meet all or most country requirements and would be content with that.
I think the india link is great, but its not what i worry about. First and foremost its the test. If you put yourself up there with the best, or become the best, such is the demand, the business will come. You will have to fight people off because you cant produce enough.
India would work, but as i have said previously, just because the country is huge doesnt mean that we go to india to sell billions of tests. Or even millions.
There is a BBC article posted yesterday about how hospitals in Delhi are turning patients away with Covid, you wont see the indian media report that. Recent riots in India, the police joined in the riots. Happily recording videos for their whatsapp followers of their shenanigans. As absurd as it may sound, same way as Cummings said protect the economy at all costs and if a few pensioners die then so what. The indians are Cumming s x10. In terms of politics they play very dirty games. Look up Modi who is the PM inciting riots in india. He was even banned from visiting certain countries before he became PM. Doing deals there are hard.
I can see the gov forcing these tech giants and large multi corps to subsidies tests who have employers there, it really is a critical juncture. The government cannot afford testing on a national scale, i just wanted to make that clear.
