The kit suppliers deal is such that rely on production to get paid in full. Black rock need production to get paid back and also they have an interest in equity. They would have carried out due diligence to be assured of success. The govt grant would have involved due diligance and approval from locals, and they want jobs in the area. Everyone has an interest in success.the grant money would be then for expansion as that would give impetus to further job creation all imho.

However, Viking mystics such as Mrs Safety can read herring guts and use them as omens- all of which have been good for sometime (most recently there was set of false teeth found whilst gutting a hawl, these contained gold and Mrs Safety found them to fit perfectly). Inky, I used to work on the ‘Post Office Railway’ 6 miles of underground railway under London. Unmanned trains. Only used relay control systems, great stuff for an electrical engineer, no solid state rubbish. Electrical and mechanical interlocked systems, not a driver anywhere and comissionedabout 1928. Some of the engineering was out of the Frankenstein movies with Mercury Arc Rectifiers, 440v 150v motor generator sets, Big copper contacted manual and solenoid operated. Great stuff to work on. If that could get put in place at that time, then how difficult is it to stick plant on a concrete base?

Inkisblue, I was merely trying to palm off blame. You raise some good points, so I fess up. However, in my defence nuns are not my area of expertise and I have never referred to herons.

Our Chairman has not taken any wage. He has put the farm on this enterprise. Fair do for him to have a good profit. The local community will benefit with jobs. We investors will profit. That would be capitalism working well. It is imperfect as a system as it has many failings, but as Churchill said: it’s the least worse one ( sic), In this case we stand to profit, but we took the risk, with money that a lot of us earned through going to work. Personally, I am still working because of my greed for material things as I can’t bring myself to downsize and do the lentils thing. Capitalism suited me now, however, the benefits of a socialist leaning govt helped me when I was young. Compassion pays benefits and how good an employer we are will have an effect on our companies success over the longer term. Balance in all things is best inmho.

Bob. Really sorry to hear about all that asbestosis, that is indicative of far more cases of mesothelioma that must have, or will, result. Asbestos exposure really is a crime against humanity by capitalism, and any other system that ignores the reality of hard evidence for the convenience of production. I fully wish for success at our mines and feel much reassured that ours are within the EU and hence the current appropriate directives apply. So, I believe we are capitalists for this investment, but we also are investing where there are important checks and balances. At the end of the day that means OUR workforce is protected and could also save us a lot from financial issues ( litigation) down the line.

Lots of reasons for British decline in matters of industry imho. Monetarist policies didn’t help, militarist unions, poor investment, the desire for other places to develop and, I believe, a lose of faith in a successful society - the dream of an equatable society was lost by all. Followed by a complete abandonment of the philosophy of corporate responsibility. However, what is missed by most commentators is the simple fact it was my fault; too long in the pub lunch times, buying me parents council house, multi carpet bagging with Building Society accounts to get share issues, then there was the denationalisation shares. I shamefully lost my position on the moral high ground and got me nose in the trough.... as did so many others. Sorry guys it was me. I have tried since to act with a social conscience on my work, but my sons run long and deep, redemption may have to take place in several more life times.

That MM is getting Johnny Foreigner to provide the kit given our experiences. Regardless of which universe we have come from the common denominator seems to be a failure of British Engineering ( excluding 19tha century Scottish engineering, of course). Shrewd move MM. Oldskool. Many years ago I used to read novellas in trilogies or quad( ologies?) would by Michael Moorcock. Essentially, they were about an eternal hero in all realities who is different in each, sometimes an anti-hero. One book’ Dancers at the End of Time’ marvellous allegory for the world today.

Inky. It is my understanding that the rate of expansion is accelerating. So the allegory you propose would indicate accelerated expansion. Personally. consolidation would be enough for me.........but I think it will be expansion......which could lead us to a 10p SP?
