Glad to see some surging of 88E, I'm in slight profit there now. HUR has been making extra effort lately as well but I am still under water with them.
V...I too have not been trading enough to get my cheaper (£3) trade rate, so I am having to pay £8. This is with IG.

Have been replacing brake discs and pads on Corsa this morning (MOT advisory). Simultaneously did an in and out on ASC...using limit sale... could have made more but it paid for the Corsa parts several times over so I'm happy.

I am also glad to see the back of Handjob (no pun intended). I fully agree with sentiments expressed by o. I just can't understand how a lying, cheating, self serving, corrupt, SoB could last for as long as he did. If I was cynical (and I am), I would say that by keeping him in office so long, it gave Boris some "cover".

o...it looks like I might be selling my Amazon estate LHD (one belonged to a swedish diplomat now belongs to a washed up has been burnt out wastrel in Devon). Changed another tyre valve this morning, now it's on pumped up rubber, I managed to move the car under it's own steam for the first time in 3? years

Please to see 88E recovery, thinking about selling my holding in them. SNG looking strong lately too. Happy that HUR are somewhat back in favour, currently up 25%, they will probably be down 10% tomorrow!

n....I live in a village of 250 (on electoral roll) in Devon and it seems like 20% of the population has changed in the last year with most of them coming from "the smoke". (london). It is getting so that I hardly recognise people out walking or in their cars. (can't complain, we are "incomers" even though we have been here 28 years). The demographics have changed massively of late, it used to be mostly retired folk, now there are many more school age childred about. I approve, it's good to have a good mix.

Off topic bit....
I have been trying to get another of my old cars back on the road lately (the Volvo Amazon). Had to buy a new battery then it took 2 days to sort out a fuel feed problem and a low tention problem to the distributor. Still, managed those and now it starts. Trouble now is 2 flat front tyres. First one proved to be a perished valve stem, so I took the tyre off and put a new valve stem in from the outside without removing tyre or breaking the bead. A big thank you to YouTube for useful instructions and giving me confidence to try that.

T...just sold my today's asc, nearly forgot how nice it is to make a daily profit...I mean, profit within the day.

T...yes, I am hoping to buy back cheaper on monday. Kicking myself that I didn't try something similar on SNG earlier in the week.
OH mum got back to her house 2 days ago after 6 days in hospital. OH is with her for about a week or more maybe. Social services have been great and she is getting up to 3 visits a day from care workers, to make sure she is up, eating and taking her tablets etc. I have just been speaking to her on the phone and she is definately more fragile and doddery than the last time I spoke to her, 10 days ago. She is 95 today. Not too bad going really.

Sold 40% of my NCYT at 383p. That's my first trade for weeks, so IG charged me £8.
Bought a car battery online (for my old Amazon). Delivery was supposed to be next day. Of course I hung about all day twiddling my thumbs, somehow I couldn't do any else.Finally arrived after two whole days. The carrier was Yodel and the tracking was rubbish.

Nice to see AVCT making some serious gains. I very nearly sold some but am hanging on.

N...don't worry too much about maybe selling AVCT too early, a profit is a profit (and I haven't made any lately).

T...HUR were up 30% at one point today. HUR is the only oiler I hold. Trouble is that they had some major falls a month ago but at least interest is returning to them.

T...I seem to be continually caught up in stuff that is keeping me away from the market. Yes I have finished the porch but then I broke my glasses, then I had to go to the dentist, then. I broke my windscreen, then the corsa mot was due . Just one thing after another, that's the definition of history isn't it? Anyhow, I'm not good at multitasking so I have to get other stuff out of the way first but I am missing trading now. Unfortunately, only today my OH's mum had a fall and is in hospital in Dorchester. She is ok apparently. Blessings are being counted here.

T...I think you did the right thing selling half your ARB when you did. I will have to start trading again soon. I feel out of tune with the market at the moment as I am only checking prices a few times a day.
