Conspiracy to defraud is a common law offence which was expressly preserved by section 5(2) of the Criminal Law Act 1977 (CLA 1977), and is triable only on indictment. The offence requires that two or more individuals dishonestly conspire to commit a fraud against a victim.
That is far from a 'clever thought'.
Dear Alexander
I very much enjoyed your speech in the HOC yesterday and I agree that there is a great opportunity for the UK to be a leading player in the new green economy of the world.
One small UK company which you may or may not have heard of is Horizonte Minerals (HZM) which has two Nickel mines being prepared for production in Brazil, once financing has been arranged. They have substantial reserves of high-grade Nickel, suitable for stainless steel and batteries as well as Cobalt.
This is exactly the kind of enterprise that the government should support to bring about your vision for the UK
Yours sincerely

Whenever one reads something like this in an RNS it is usually time to run for the hills.
'The field may then be decommissioned, with potentially limited or no value returned to shareholders'.

Interesting to read some previously unreported battle between Trice and former OGA employee. If only we had known we may have got out sooner!
Pedro
I am in a similar position and got swept away with the earlier enthusiasm. I ask myself how Trice sleeps at night. We all make mistakes, but as he has lost hundreds of investors many thousands, the least he can do is communicate somehow an explanation. Otherwise he will show himself to be a coward and not the macho man on the rig when he should have been at the AGM last year.
Bernstein only ever talks his own book.
Crystal Amber love you to follow their money. As soon as you do they sell. 48 millions worth profit.
Since investing in Hurricane, the Fund has realised profits of £43 million.
To my mind CA are traders and are here to buy low and sell higher. Is it possible they wanted to close a short position last week?
At last year's AGM Trice was hiding on a rig. I wonder where he is hiding now?
Daltry, I agree with your sentiments. I, too, have lost a huge chunk of my lifelong savings here and I also feel that we have been duped. My first suspicions were aroused when Trice failed to appear at the very bubbly AGM last year. However I continued to believe the hype and even invested more. stupid or what?
If Trice has any humanity, he will agree to meet us face to face to give an explanation. Of course he won't. I salvaged my last 10% last week at 3.33p and yes I too am angry. To my mind the company is on its last legs and has no future. A few traders will play around here to make a few pounds but as usual most will lose.
I haven't posted on this board but have read it every day for years. Thanks to all the genuine LTH's like you and DoubleUK ...you know who you are. Now over to the spivs.
There was a clear dereliction of duty not to RNS the P and A of Halifax.
