Looks good value to me.
Yes, no investor should be surprised. These results are conducive to the Q2 2023 production report released in July.
Nearly £100k’s worth of shares 😱
It’s almost like they know there are worried investors out there who will be keeping an eye on short position changes. Strategic move to commence closing a larger position started when the price was over 30% higher?
Current NAV 282.91p. My 1001 buy at 16:25 shows as a sell for some reason.
Smallest hint of upward movement in the world’s second largest economy and I believe these shares will fly.
I’d sell and wait for a lower price maybe 60’s, as has been suggested, if the major short positions had been increasing but Glg Partners and Systematica reduced on 27th July when the sp was mid 90’s (or higher if taking into account time lag to report change) suggesting very limited downside from here. I can’t help suspecting there’s a bigger background accumulator planning to scoop up as many shares as possible from weak holders on the inevitable bounce. However if short positions increase, I’ll start to worry.
I don’t think this is the bottom, more like 15% below the bottom… and 200p+ when Mara Rosa starts churning out the gold next year.
I’m awaiting the H1 update with interest. On profitability, CFO Yariv Dafna said in the FY22 result’s presentation that adjusted ebitda margins for 2023 are anticipated to be over 20% for the full year but “it’s worth noting the ebitda margin will be more H2 weighted given the timing of the synergies realisation”.
Revenue is already expected to be down by a low to mid digit percentage as also seen in Q1, and will there be an increase to the expected cash interest costs of £165-170m expected in 2023?
Personally I think it will be wiser to buy after the results, which may seem disappointing to the some investors.
Hoping to buy a few for under a quid before the market catches up with the news 🤞
Winstonwolf, I believe the breakout to confirm bullishness could begin today 😂
I don’t think there will be a big rise as people are too scared of the drop when it goes ex-divi and would rather pick up cheaper shares a few days later. If anything I think anticipation of the price dropping is priced in more than the reward of the dividend, if that makes sense. Just my opinion and relevant to a lot of high yielding dividend stocks atm but I could be very wrong.
