Thanks Ahfam - understood about the vote point, but showing my naivety, why would a consolidation cost the BOD something? I thought all shares got consolidated e.g. 1 for 100 in order to increase the SP and get more investor attention?
Apologies if this is old hat, but I found this on Agile's website:
https://www.agiletrial.net/first-patient-dosed-in-latest-stage-of-agile-covid-19-drug-trial/
Which talks about a Covid trial with Uni of Liverpool, partnered with GSK and Vir Technology in April 2021.
I had a quick look at the VIR stock price which shows up over 60% in the last 6 months, but a big spike in Feb 2021.
I see no reason why SAR wouldn't follow the same trajectory if it gets into AGILE
Thanks sad and phil.
I sold half my holding last Oct to de-risk and make a small profit and sold another 200k early june to bank some profit. I'm on a free ride but don't know how my nerves will hold out if it starts to rise to the levels quoted by Thoth and others - bird in the hand and all that
What have you chaps done when you've been in similar situations?

I've been in SAR for years, read the research by others but don't often blog. I don't recall SAR releasing an RNS just because they're presenting at a conference before and I've seen lots of posts to links where SAR have presented but without an RNS.
Why would you release an RNS unless what you are going to say at the conference is going or likely to have a material impact on the SP?
I've been in SAR for a long time and been caught on spikes before. Slowly averaged down over the years and had 1m last October when it jumped to 3p. Sold half my holding for a small profit and sold another 200k to bag a £10k profit last week.
This leaves me with 300k shares nearly showing a 700% profit - really don't know what to do especially given previous spikes but this HNWI activity I have never seen before
I sold half my holding for 100% gain and have completely de-risked my investment, but didn't want to be out of it completely just in case.
Used the proceeds to buy RR at 67p which is going very well.
Will use the proceeds to get back into SAR if it drops below 1p - but I do believe it'll come good. GLA
I've been in SAR for a while but don't post much and as the first presentation I've watched today, which I thought was very positive if not stating what was already known.
I think the price rise is purely down to the US patent, so IMO should stay at the current SP levels we are seeing.
