Yes this happens every day. Reason is only Automatic trades show up on the figures quoted any woth Os will not be shown on price. You can see sometime that the first figure is a lower or higher figure than bid and offer, this is because of above but doesnt affect prevailing share price. Because there are not a lot of these traded at times I do personally think they can be easily manipulted. But of course that is only a personal opinion.

Hello again our paths cross again. Might have some updates on this at update time, think it is 9th Jan. Might determine whether this will go up or down short term. Best Wishes for 2014. Nice buys earlier. Possible instititional interest.

That this share is being massively manipulated. It is quite clear that in order to meet FTSE listing rules that some shares have to be sold. This will be either in a placement or sold in market. The lower the share price the lower the price they will get which will force price down until this is clear. What would propel this forward is a placement at a price above the prevailing share price. Until this is soreted out it will remain volatile.

I am with salsa on this one. Spread betting seem to me like cfds. Also tax issues are negligible with ISA and you have to make a profit ouside of isa of more than 10600 to have cgt. What are charges for spread betting ????

All thebest. Yes I have done a few times with varying degrees of success. Too be honest just recently most of the trades I have done (not just in FGP ) have been poor trades. I have sold too early and not doing my own research trying for a quick buck. I have made money on FGP but my worry is I sell, and then share price goes up and cant get back in. Havent got a strategy at the moment due to losses on a couple of shares. The movement on FGP is very rarely more than a couple of pence so need a good amount to invest, I need to take stock and am often too quick to hit the button. A ll the best for XMAS and new year.
