RE: Dirty mms tricks28 Apr 2021 10:23
Per my post after close, its the round sum trades anywhere from 10 to 50k in size that gives away SP being controlled - again yawn! Like I said last week you could see constant sells throughout the day on little volume. Yesterday was the first day where you saw a lot more round sum buys. It does not take much capital to short sell (even below the 0.5% reporting threshold) & effectively a quasi news void allows this. Remember MMs could not give two hoots as to price so long as their tills ring, they will just create extra volatility. The SP traded happily between 80p & 100p for c8 weeks, the only reason to a downside was to facilitate more volatility = more volume. Very simple to execute on the AIM. Being a MM is a closed shop there isn't 50 of them - free market and all that!
The other point is if there any negative news on the AIM a SP opens down 30% virtually always! Completely nuts 2+2 = 30. Why dont' the chuffers just let the trades lead the drop. Again its to create volatility - the AIM is volatile because of PIs or should I say the AIM is volatile because the City mob know it a PI led market & hence, allows for flagrant games.
Frustrating beyond belief with the chuffin Govt here but all we can do is wait = patience
