RE: Spin offs9 Apr 2021 12:08
I stated this eons ago.
The non-core assets are not monetised in the balance sheet intangible or otherwise.
Taking wearables this will be monetised by way of contracts secured et al. I would therefore, expect the SP to reflect this in some way over the coming 9 to 12 months. This will then be spun out incl NASDAQ listing & we will get shares at value x in that company (I am assuming an announcement around the new year - but who knows). Whatever, OO SP is at the time of the announcement it will adjust back down via the relevant value at the time spin out occurs.
As for the others 3 these will not be monetised on the Balance sheet of OO until the spin off is announced & their requisite values. We will then see an increase in SP (as they are currently not on the books) and then per wearable son spin off/execution date the SP will adjust down.
The key point here is that the SP does not even approach true value & CF is under egging likely potential. When CF 1st stated non-core assets we were at c27p & c175m in market cap. I am assuming now we are starting to see some of this "potential" value reflected in the SP - how much is anyone's guess. The 1st pair could generate c100 to 250m in value but what I feel is that current SP is not near fair value for these 1st two spin offs. Anyway, what the heck do I know.
