Once the pay deal is eventually sorted the next big items are start/finish times and annualised hours. Big bad Dave will go for a work to rule as we can keep that up all year without affecting our basic pay. And anyone who knows delivery knows the impact of that. It won't have the media coverage of all out strikes but will be effective. The postie's United will never be defeated lol.
Redcoc...What a way to pass your working life. Very true statement. I love my job and my customers love me, so much so that I was overwhelmed with gifts of food and money during Xmas as a big thank you for all my hard work over the year. So nice to be valued.... don't you think lol
Well you know what they say anger you have to roll with the punches and I've done pretty well considering all the time off I've had lol.
I've got very little to worry about regarding modernization, our little office is understaffed as it is and that's without all the cheeky blighters going off sick all the time. Plus I've only got a few years left to go so a nice big vr check off uncle Simon will do nicely. Have a good day sir lol
Anger I've lost very little money due to doing a bit of ot, and an unfortunate bout of man flu which funnily enough was during the strike days lol Big bad Dave is coming for you
On CWU twitter....We have been meeting with Royal Mail Group in recent days. We will give members a full update tomorrow come what may. Thank you for your support and patience.

Anger that's a nice simple analogy you used there so I'll keep it simple for you and apply some common sense. If you couldn't pay your bills would you...A/ Look at how you can gradually reduce your bills whilst at the same time looking at other ways to earn more money or....B/ Eat twice as much food and leave the heating on all day and double your bills.
Not blase just a bit of common sense that you would expect a highly paid CEO to be capable of but that isn't part of the plan is it. Come on AS you're brighter than this lol
ST played hard ball by imposing a 2% pay rise and refusing to negotiate on the terms and conditions seemingly to get what he wanted, ia. Now i wonder why he didn't just offer 5-6%, compromise a bit on the t+c and continue to grow the business, that would seem to be the sensible approach. Why I ask myself.
