George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Hi Roy
Don't agree at all.... if we have held out over the last 18 months with all the good news still arriving every 6 weeks... Why would a substantial amount of shareholders be unseated !! makes no sense unless for personal economic needs
Evening TomE
No concern whatsoever..... just the normal control of our SP keeping it low....
Even with good results tomorrow evening .. I am expecting they could add to their short position
to keep us pegged down.... we've lasted this long... lets hope at year end its a different story
Hi SAS
Just spent 20 minutes trying to find a reply Hydro and ANother gave me on this subject but the entire thread has been removed.
The jist of it was....the Shorts could have been engaged / authorised to depress / subdue the SP, thus dramatically reducing our MCap for a potential T/O bid however if they get trapped and have to close at a loss then within their agreed terms pay back clauses could be triggered for any losses
Scarabbeatle... many of us are in the same position. I've been invested almost 4 years...
SP is a pain in the ass to watch... and broker predictions just add to the frustration...
My personal position - I believe we have a super Gold discovery, but our AIM stock is being shorted / played
possibly instigated by NC... I will only 'cut my losses' if I need the funds to support my family
and my Sipp pension is there until the end game..... Best Rup
SP will recover just gotta sit it out.........
Should we not be expecting news re: new drilling
on any of our other projects or JV sites during the Australian autumn winter months ?
Would be good to get something positive from GGP
Showing on my screen.... £83 sold £32K bought
Helpful quote Chippy9 cheers
Hard to watch Jber (our joint broker)
constantly dropping us this week dropped to 12.2 ask
as if they are working with / facilitating the shorts
Frustrating ... better just to switch off at least thats another week over !!
Hi TomE
Investors are not IMO getting spooked
As Paddy said yesterday... LTH'ers are not capitulating - you haven't !!
As you state we have had another good update....
I do agree that the disrupters just need ignored....
Lets say Hydros theory materialises...
Shorter's primed to drop us further to wear PI's out and then say an offer lands for all of Havierion or GGP
What happens next as I have no experience of a T/O or 'Buy out'
1. Do they speak to GGP management beforehand ?
2. Or is it a surprise RNS announcement from NC ?
3. Do the shares immediately suspend until a vote takes place ?
4. Are we locked out of accessing funds until the voting outcome ?
Not my preferred scenario... but as someone posted yesterday it is better to be prepared
Thanks in advance
Morning Hydro.... some of your views are & have been
1. Shorts are increasingly nervous and need an exit strategy... does not seem to be happening also gold price has not rocketed as predicted by many
2. Take over bid incoming.... ie shorters are an integral part of the process as per Pretium..... precedent example very intriguing... but NC would need to declare their hand to their shareholders & wider market ie. just how good & massive Havieron to justify another capital purchase... if indeed it was a realistic offer ?
Given their market position and recent buy outs...What if Newcrest are content to simply let the 5% arbitration play out, see what results come from our other JV tenements this year, with no imminent 'buy-out' ie. accepting GGP as a 25% mining partner moving forward in the short to mid term....
