Love your enthusiasm. SP is perplexing. I think you are right they have the backing of major shareholders hence the reason small PL's not being consulted. Not sure about the rest of your analysis.
My hope is that Mark Wilson's ego has been hurt and he will come back with another offer ;-)

pedro very nicely put basically people should ignore the 15p share options when determining what their current shares are worth. De Haan is paying 27p for his shares and someone has already offered 33p per share

well just my opinion but then you are saying the management made a poor decision by rejecting the 33p bid!!!
which is true if they are issuing shares for less which confuses me especially as management have share options!!!

ok Telegraph has slightly different story :

"Sir Roger will buy an initial tranche of up to £60.6m at 27p each, almost double Friday's closing price of 13.6p. He will inject a further £14.9m up to 15p, and will spend up to £24.5m more on stock if there is not enough demand from other investors."

If that is true our current shares are worth 24.6p
((6 * 23p) -15)/5 assuming we get the same price as De Haan.
