Haha I mainly just lurk here Suzy and rarely post. Only when a link or translation haven't been shared with you guys :) We obviously all want beo to get the concession and it's difficult to be objective when we got skin in the game.
That a decision will be made when Unesco has replied. It's clear that they want to avoid being taken to court and want Unesco to confirm that there will be no impact on laponia. With a no, beowulf will take them to court - and there is absolutely no reason for it to be a no. With a yes to a mine in Kallak, the sami will take them to court and it would be nice for them to have the Unesco backing them in that case
It's very positive! They seem certain a positive decision will be made. I believe a decision will be taken when unesco has replied. Hopefully 2021 will be a great year for us after all these years :)

Sven - "A decision from the government is fairly close." He is expecting something to happen in the near future. Let's hope he is right :)

He didn't say anything new. He agreed that mining is important to sweden, but used the complexity of the case and the covid situation as excuses for no decision. He did seem a bit more nervous and frustrated than usual and can surely feel the pressure now which is good

Dear Rune,
There is no open hearing in the Committee on the Constitution concerning Kallak. This examination will be treated behind doors.
You can read the scrutiny report when it is published. The plan is to publish the report the 30 of November.
