Can someone explain to me how some posters go from full of hope and positive sentiment that today would be the day, to sudden and total reversal that it's now a diaster. One day. I mean seriously. Perhaps I better crawl under my rock till the termites have back in their homes.

For someone in a highly pressurised job you seem to have lost your **** this morning because of a possible 1 day delay.

Absolutely myoung. Whoever heard of a company, in history, that decided to only release RNS' on a monday. Selling whole or part on the huge assumption there will be no RNS the next 4 days is an Everest-sized risk.

For those who say there is no secret message within the picture, maybe. But the picture is taken with the context of the situation in mind. Think of the previous pictures. We had one where the main object in the picture was the drilling rig..when they were drilling...they had one of swimming in bubbles...when they must have been near TD...now they have one where the primary object in the picture is the geolog truck. I think it signifies the point they are at, otherwise why not post another of 1000 alternative pictures.

Not sure I'll be at a level to use candlesticks to help on this share in the near future, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for resistance points that become support, RSI etc. Want to be the best investor I can be going ahead

Sorry to disrupt the professional thread with novice skill. I would think I will learn how to use charts over the next few months and years. However, for now I have a, perhaps silly, question. If charts predict potential price action based on the past, how would they help with entry or exit decisions once ath's are broken and share price is in uncharted territory? Thanks in advance for any replies

Not sure why, in a land of 60m+ people, you're nervous about one very small short being opened. Seems akin to going outside and worrying about being hit by a meteor. You do realise shorts are a pretty common event, and as pointed out previously, there is a reasonable chance that short was opened simply to counteract a holding thereby mitigating risks both ways.

It's not counting chickens. It's preparation..consideration of my strategy. I'd rather not formulate strategy on the hoof.

Does anyone have experience of a similar situation? I aim to hold long term, but considering how to play my cards on the assumption well 1 is a success, as all indications suggest. As per the directors bonus of 3 wells in 3 months, well 2 would be at least 5 or 6 weeks away from here. The prospect would be reasonably de-risked for new investors if well 1 was a success, but I'm wondering what those with experience or knowledge think the share price might do in between wells. I would imagine a slight fall for perhaps a couple of weeks before picking up again thereafter. On that basis, I'm considering top slicing 30% to put into another share I have my eye on, then pump that 30% back in here if not too late. Trek, joshwaa, glib or any others would love to hear your opinions what you personally expect would happen.

My understanding was that they had recommenced drilling prior to the Friday. And we have no idea as to drilling speed..30mpd is a possibility, but not necessarily a probability. Personally, I think they've just hit their first target, as of Thursday or Friday, or will this weekend. With an RNS mon-wed, with Thurs the dark horse. Although I'm happy to wait till whenever

You can always tell a shorter when they're 100% negative without any reason or indication. Might want to try more subtle de-ramping.
