Given the ask price is materially lower than last night, despite buys outstripping sells today, I'm guessing the MM's are either working through a big buy or, perhaps more likely, collecting shares for the expectant news. Secondly, given the extended timeline (by Cora's own standards) since the previous assays I think it's likely that the next will be a bumper edition of metres reported (as per the previous RNS too). Thirdly, since this will perhaps be the end of the assays, before the hop, skip and jump to the MRE, I'm expecting volume to arrive post-RNS, as happened with the first few drill RNS', rather than beforehand.
What is it about Wednesday updates with this company...
Thanks for that, Iain
Do we think latest drill results next week will include any forward-looking information? Thoughts? I would imagine so myself, at least with regards next steps.
Where's the action here??? Sentiment on Nasdaq improved, bitcoin strong last 24 hours, 44k smashed...
Bitty currently making the 4th run-up on 44k. You would think that hurdle will be breached today.
I don't normally engage with idiots, but John, calling long on gold is about the most obvious investment I can think, not exactly one to puff your chest out at.
Bitty is doing much better this afternoon than previous afternoons this week. If it holds like this and repeats similar pattern overnight we could be looking at 45k again. Wishful thinking, I know.
So the hammering on the Nasdaq the last few days has abated, being as it is well up. The looming government shutdown hasn't affected the market, and usually it has only very small negative effect, while day after it is resolved is typically a strong day. We've had a great RNS today, which leaves bitcoin as the reason we are being held back, as well as sentiment that the share price keeps diving in the afternoon recently. All that plus tomorrow being start of a new quarter meaning ii's will have fresh money to play, after their end of quarter profit-taking, leaves positivity that tomorrow, and next week, will be positive. At least, I am.
The bitcoin Chart has been showing a descending closing wedge for a number of weeks now which seems to be nearing completion. The price action this morning hopefully indicates the start of a breakout north. Watching with interest.
If it's tracking the LSE price then LSE has drifted down or held flat since US pre market opened 90 minutes ago, while the Nasdaq price has drifted only up, up and up. Strange mechanics
Well, if we're deluded the Americans must be too...nice start to the day over there.
Thanks lolades. Tbh I never paid attention to OTC. ADR however is a different kettle of fish, should turbo charge prices here, more or less.
One thing I'm not sure of - the LSE price was weighted to the closing ADR price on its first day; will the opening LSE price be weighted to closing ADR every day? Would appreciate some better informed knowledge.
How can we be over valued when we've got all the good news to come??
Just people who already wanted to sell exiting have found their price after the initial rise. And others slicing before ADR pre market opens.
Sure, but what's important now is not the Nasdaq finish but the Nasdaq open. Nice little bit of impetus thrown into the works.
That was one almighty spike though.
Bitty flying. 1.5k in 30 mins????
Regarding the quiet period, wolfofwarks got it spot on; the company can release pertinent operational updates, but not promotional ones. Can you imagine the legalities of a ****show where the company chooses to sit on explosive information, like going into administration etc, in order to comply with the 40 day quiet period. The purpose of such a period, as mentioned higher up, is not to skew objectivity. But if the company sits on critical operational updates that is also skewing objectivity in the opposite sense. So monthly updates and the installation of new machines would comply with the specifications.
paw has shown himself to be a strategic thinker in the past with the timing of the RNS's. As CEO he obviously knows we hat is happening with BTC mined, margin etc. He will be well aware the first operational update post Nasdaq launch will be highly significant in transforming the company. I think I think it's strong speculation that he has timed the launch to coincide with with the next RNS being great and with updates coming in Oct. Should take us to a new level
