Member Info for rugs

Spread very wide at the moment which I feel is always ominous. Okay not quite the 2.40-2.90 as per the last trade but only a little inside each price. Still reckon there are sales known about by brokers but not yet showing up here.

Further to my last post, on opening this morning broker offering buy at 56.50 and sell at 57.

This is the tightest spread I have seen recently for REA.

Point well made sir but 53, as shown by LSE, is not a realistic mid price and I would expect this number to rise to 57-58 today. BUT your point is well made. Perhaps we should be buying the stocks you sell and selling those you buy !

Don't think that LSE showing a closing price of 53 is too realistic and representative of the market. Strange that the 'asking' price shown fell after the second 100,000 purchase. Perhaps the end of week price more realistically should read 57=58 ?

FKi. There must be more sales that are not showing. As at 1730 the last shown were early afternoon and were small and not enough to swing the price downwards. Rgds

in the wings ? Only reason I suggest this is that broker has suddenly reduced his buying price to 2.45 whilst maintaining a selling level of 2.80

and reflected in brokers price which , for me,is now 2.89 to buy and just under 2.65 to sell. Jeez am only losing half my money here now ! Way to go but heading in the right direction.

at 2.50 are interesting as over the past few days my broker has been pretty steady quoting close to 2.60 to sell and 2.40 to buy. I reckon they are bed and breakfast trades with the buyer slightly increasing his holding. Certainly not two sales.

jk-fk1, I did not listen to the Q and A but in a recent phone conversation with LM he certainly said to me that the 3rd commodity would almost certainly come before the clean energy.

Some 500,000 buys and a few more sales. Broker quoting 2.50 to sell and 2.40 to buy.

As at 1100 broker a buyer at 2.25 and a seller at 2.49 so the suggested ask at 2.70 a little way off the mark.

Come on FK1, try to be a little more positive. Posting negatively all the time only serves to put potential buyers off !.
Anyhow as of 1130 this morning I could not get a quote for 100,000 or even 50,000 shares. Best I could buy at was 30,000 at 2.50 so H&N you are in the money on your latest purchase....
Can sell at a shade over 2.30
Long way to go but at least we seem to be heading in the right direction at the moment.

tend to buy WTB when the price gets to around 2200 and sell when it reaches 2500. It has happened a few times this year so have today bought a few. I dont make much £ 500-600 a turn but it does allow me to buy a decent lunch and some good beer/wine.

prices are becoming a joke. Why is the price pegged at 50 when the best i can buy at is 55.49 and when I can sell at 53.35
LSE numbers are used by many iindexes to value portfolios so I question why they show numbers which are not representative of the market.

why LSE showing a mid price of 50.5 when it is listing sales at 52 and purchases at 55.
