GP, I doubt there's been a leak affecting EDR's price, either re farmout or Wressle - more to do with building a position before news of either.

I expect investors see Egdon as being under valued at the moment, bearing in mind Wressle news definitely before 17th February, and farm out news definitely by 31st January. Of course neither are dead certs, but strong possibilities. Don't know why the market makers have to butt in - leave it to the market.

It was less than 4 weeks since the last update (which had been demanded on here), then there was criticism because it didn't state anything new. What people really want is not an update, but progress. But that is out of the companies hands, so we just have to wait for the authorities. The directors will be just as frustrated as us.

I believe just applications, not imminent, but another positive step in the right direction.

I went to Portman Road in 1977 (I think it was) to watch Ipswich beat Barcelona 3-0. Johan Cruyff was playing - he took a pass around neck height on the inside of his foot and brought it down as though he'd caught it in his hands. All the Ipswich fans applauded. Eric Gates scored a crucial goal for Ipswich (I judged a beauty competition with him around 1983 - he insisted we give 1st prize to the girl with the big nipples).

Mymine, good choice. Until recent times they were one of the few teams who still relied on local talent. People knew the villages they came from, and even some of their friends and relatives. A shame that all changed really.

It was always the same BWM. We'd have a couple of world class players but not enough strength in depth.

Now however, we've got world class directors AND assets to match.
