thanks for that - i seem to recall for the last AGM someone wrote a detailed analysis of what happened - havnt managed to find the link for this one - anyone have an idea?
RCG buying more shares this morning - I just dont understand where all this liquidity is coming from - very few selss but lots of buys!
it was a transfer for tax reasons - anyone that can shed light on this?
You source may have been correct - look at this buy: 04-Apr-08 12:20:13 68.00 1,011,135 Buy* 67.00 68.50 £687.57k just hope it wasnt a sell!
then we'll all be dead and quite frankly wouldnt really care what happened to my money :)
p.s. sandhopper thanks for your email. Just had a thought - suppose the court case gets solved tom (one can wish!) and the person who ends up with Wang's estate decides not to sell the shares immeditaly, I think this would leave an indefinite overhang on the shares (no-one would know when, if at all, the beneficiary will sell). Not knowing about the will is the same as not knowing what will eventually happen to the shares once the will is decided - is my thinking correct?
Great news - that explains the director buying last week. I wonder the price at which the board will stop putting shares into treasury? So we know next time there is a director buy - we should also be buying too (they are sitting on a 25% gain since they bought the shares)!
Hi Sandhopper As you will see from my footprints I am a large investor in RCG. I am interested in talking to you more re RCG (and in regard to this rumour you have heard). Perhaps you could drop me an email (nikesh121@hotmail.com). Thanks

are mm's pushing this down as good news is on the way and they need stock - or does someone know something with a large buy order allowing the mm's to push down the price to retrieve stock? OR are these consipiracy theories crazy??? lol

i think its a good sign that RCG are buying back their own shares (when they are so cheap) - doing bit by bit is the way to go so as not to alert the major traders and still allow the price to be down. I suspect we will see a raft of these anouncements whilst the price is at these levels.
Regarding its proposed share consolidation program, it said every 1,500 shares will be consolidated into one new share with a nominal value of 3.75 stg. Each new share will then be subdivided into 60 new shares with a nominal value of 6.25 pence each. The company said the consolidation will reduce its overheads. The record date for the reorganisation is Sept 6 and the dealings of shares with nominal value of 6.25 pence will commence on Sept 7, Energy Technique added.
doesnt really look like the market has taken the news well - sell at 10p now!
just spoke to them and they said results out around 12-1pm! They sounded upbeat and happy - dont know whether thats any indication of the results but here's to hoping they are good!
nice shake of by mm's - did anyone manage to get in sub 29p?
Hi bobby - you must remember that most people posting will probably be holders. Even if they are not intentionally trying to ramp up the shares - some bias is inevitable. If it was 100% certain that the shares would rise in value, even by 1% why would everyone not be buying them? There is a certain amount of risk involved and thats why its important that you should do your own research (DYOR). Message boards help to alert you to shares and give information but you should always verify links and read up on them. Im a holder of these and going to sell on results hoping for a rise. But like i said - if its dead certain they will rise, why isnt everyone buying into them. Good luck - oh and in answer to your question im hoping for a 10% rise (thats my rule with most stocks - 10% and im out)!
thanks davius - i fear you may be right - still think that company is a strong recovery share and will be looking to top-up around 25p. Logic tells me that a company simply can not continually be valued under its NAV - it just doesnt make sense...but then again the markets rarely make sense to me!
i want to wait to see what happens tom - it may well be too late but already got a fair bit in WNG dont really want to go in any stronger. Wait and see...
