Its a common mistake that gets constantly spouted on these small stocks right across the board. The only way they could possibly be short is via a Spreads/CFD bet which has absolutely no effect whatsoever on the under lying SP

In short the fella is just being an knobwad

What was missed by most was close to the very end when it was made very clear many exciting developments would be announced shortly
