Back in my home City in South West UK there's only one shop that you can order from AND you have to appear in person and be vetted before getting on the list (am not joking)

It probably is "easier" in London etc but dont bank on it

I will add (why the hell don't LSE have a 1 minute edit option) that any commission on 212 is within the spread but again its negligible to make no difference

Where 212 excels is if you're building a position you can literally add £100 a week (or whatever) without the obvious broker fees each time

Its a fantastic "brokerage" in my opinion with minor limitations

Slothmister 212 are extremely good for well traded stocks considering there is zero commission

Despite my initial reservations with them a few years ago on the bid/offer execution on pricing I see absolutely no difference than paid for brokers.....absolutely none at all

The main difference though is with 212 you "get what you're given" on pricing....there is no option to accept or decline. On big stocks from my personal experience it clearly doesn't matter and if there is a difference its absolutely negligible not to matter

However for low volume stocks like Angus execution can be slow as they match buyers/sellers. As such I hold all junior stocks on other paid for brokers.
