Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
Thanks FTB1 & Jimmybird. Found the twitter post really intertesting and gave me more of a feel for the company and the people behind it. There is a real passion which you dont see in many companies. I was 99% going to take a position and now have. Having a better understanding of the tech (which is not my forte) has helped. Thank you
I’m looking to invest here, not huge amounts just what I can afford. The things is I know nothing about what this company are trying to achieve. Not because I can’t. Be arsed researching, just I don’t have knowledge. Can anyone shed some light and any positives or negative. As always I know to do my own research but it never hurts to ask especially when there are people more knowledgeable. Thanks
Really, a company that can’t file their annual accounts, even after 16 months and you expect they can run a business.
Company registered in IOM
No actual office there
Company currently in default as Sep 21 annual return not filed.
Previous names but no research done on these
ANDALAS ENERGY AND POWER PLC
CEB RESOURCES PLC
Great post Cornish
I read the RNS as a positive.
I’ve seen many businesses try to fix what previous management have done rather than go in, look at the whole picture and make big changes.
I to was hoping the RNS would give a rise in SP but on reflection I think this is the best way forward.
Okay it’s gonna take more time but it is going to have so much more potential.
If the cash was needed to keep afloat then I’d be gone but it’s not.
It’s about investment, alternative options and ultimately making more money down the line.
To me the fundamentals of the company have just got better.
I use Halifax £36 per year admin and £9.50 per trade. Never had any issues
Thanks for all the info, was just trying to work out what projects we currently have, what our commitments are and expected timeframes.
With regards to the accounts I was asking about the 15m goodwill entry ( just forgot to type that bit) is this where we have done certain leg work based on possible deals?
I understand covid has set us back but like to do a timeframe of where businesses expect to be and see if we hit the goals. I love spreadsheet ??
Hi All
Doing reseach and wondered if anyone could clarify a few points.
Do we find the sites or do we get approached?
Can we do all stages from design to build to maintenance
If we build is this why we loan funds with sort return dates as payment due on completion.
Is the 15m I’d accounts where we are at certain stages with project but no actual build?
What is our average length of project?
Sorry for all the questions but trying to get a handle on how it works.
Thanks
Thanks Cornishknocker
Have you included the below in your calculations?
To protect the Company's financial performance from the volatility of copper price, and as a requirement of the West Face loan note financing, 3,600 tonnes of copper production for 2021 (approximately 50% of 2021 production) has been sold forward at US$3.494/lb.
There is no way on gods earth this will be 3p in a few weeks. Do you know any of the fundamentals ?
Sing to the tune of Tell me why I don't like Mondays by the Boomtown Rats.
The share price rise inside your head
Gets switched to oh god NO
They release a bad RNS Friday
That’s gonna make your head explode
And the investors don't understand it
GM was always good as gold
And we want the reasons
What are the reasons
The reason we need to be told
(Tell me why)
I don't like Mondays
(Tell me why)
I don't like Mondays
(Tell me why)
I don't like Mondays
I wanna shoot the whole day down
The PR machine is kept so clean
Will it type to a waiting world?
The investors are shocked, as their world is rocked
And their thoughts turn to their pot of gold
It’s could have made thirteen, I hear you scream
Do you still believe in what your told
And we want the reasons
What are the reasons
The reason we need to be told
(Tell me why)
I don't like Mondays
(Tell me why)
I don't like Mondays
(Tell me why)
I don't like Mondays
I wanna shoot the whole day down

Only you can make that decision as none of us know the answer, no matter what some might say.
That is why I always go back to the fundamentals of a company and try to block out the noise.
I’m holding and will now re-evaluating my goals with this company but won’t be making any firm decisions for at least a month as I would expect some sort of update by then.
Would I have sold at Fridays opening price if I knew what was coming, hell yes. Would I sell at current price knowing there’s more potential, hell no.
Maybe ask yourself would you invest in this company at the current share price for what is currently on the table? Forgot the losses for one moment and look at it as if you were about to invest for the first time.
I’m confident that we will see upward movement in the SP as think this is to low. How far up it will go I don’t know and that is what I will re-evaluate once the dust settles.
That said I also feel that over the next week or two this could drop and rise as people make their decisions or make there percentage gains.
I’m not one to sell and buy on the dips for a few percent as that doesn’t suit my way of investing.
It wouldn’t surprise me if on opening this dropped further as many will have read the news after trading closed and put in a sell order and that is one reason why I would never use a stop loss.
I have been 40% down on another investment I hold ( I jumped in at the top and it was when I was very wet behind the ears). I held my nerve and kept reviewing the fundamentals that kept telling me I was right.
I’m now 15% up and believe it has a lot further to go.
The markets are driven by sentiment and fundamentals but at some point they reach the same level. Hence why I bang on about fundamentals so much.
I don’t have money to lose but any funds invested will not have an effect on my day to day living and this is why I’m willing to take the risk. I’m trying to build a bigger pot for the future and have a diverse pot of investments.
Everyone’s circumstances are different and that is why no one but yourself can make the decision.
Good luck with any decision you make.
This is just my personal view but if it helps one person make a balanced decision going forward then it was worth writing.
Like many by the time I’d read the RNS around 4pm the share price had already plummeted and my first instinct was to sell.
I stopped myself, the damage was done and I hadn’t read or absorbed the RNS probably. I knew I was in a panic, I had just lost 50% of my hefty investment as I was previously down before the news.
You see I was expecting this share to rise on news of the second contract and then planning to top slice profit, pat myself on the back and tell myself how wonderful I am.
I lost the bet, I’d read on a few occasions the dangers of this share being tied to one main customer and chose to ignore it, it didn’t fit with my plans. Although initially putting the blame and anger at GMs door it’s no one else’s fault but mine. A hard pill to swallow but one I have to take.
I did my research and this is a company with great potential. I admit that I often read and liked posts that suited my game plan but we often read what we want to see.
So where now?
A questions I always ask myself is have the fundamentals of the company changed and the answer to me is no.
This is a company that has leapfrogged and stepped up during the covid crisis and who is still making a lot of money without the second contract and sounds fairly confident that they are legally entitled to any disputed funds.
There is far more business than the UK market and as the richer nations become vaccinated there is still the issue with poorer nations.
And this is where the biggest covid threat comes from.
If this virus continues to mutate it could make vaccines worthless and this is where we must continuing testing.
Having been there, as you come out of your bubbles and back to life you forget that the rest of the world is not with you.
This company is not just a covid testing company , it has many other interests, it’s just that covid is an overriding factor at present.
I believe that the current SP is to low and taking into account the fundamentals I won’t be selling, especially at this price and that’s a risk I’m willing to take.
Yes it may go slightly lower over the next couple of days while people make their decisions but I do think it will bounce.
A would suggest to anyone in the same boat to look at why they invested and try not to get stung by the panic. If you still want to sell after you’ve had time to think then do what’s right for you.

Green tech is back of the queue at the moment and I think it will be for a while longer.
With covid, restrictions and vaccines still very much centre stage I can see minimal movement unless we get great news ( although the recent RNS was) and cash inflow.
Once we start to live with covid rather than shut down green tech will again become a hot topic and interest will pick back up.
Would we still have the loss if covid hadn’t happened?
Many companies have been hit by covid and progress will have been delayed.
Personally I don’t see this as a negative not in the current climate

Is there really any need to be so harsh. We all start somewhere.
Agree Arsenal, amazing how they all sell at highest point and all get get in at lowest point.
Why are people going on about what we can’t do rather than what we can.
Perfect for schools if suspected outbreak, perfect for nursing homes, factories where downtime and loss of production would have a massive impact.
Will it only be coronavirus that it can detect or will there be other things that can be added or adjusted for?
It also states an active pipeline, which leads me to think more than what is being said. No this news isn’t gonna give you a mutibagger overnight but it is good news, we are still progressing and I think more to come.
